JIFFY FIX

They rushed me in as it was a rental and we needed the work done for a refi. Made a real effort to work me around their already busy schedule. The work, while minor, was done well. I asked about future repair work I want done and was especially impressed that the worker (who I think owns the company) didn't try to talk me into unnecessary work when I asked for an opinion. He gave me options and the pros and cons, even encouraging me that likely the cheaper route would better serve my needs. I noticed they had some not great rating on Angie's list... but that seems to be from people who never actually got work done by them, so I'm going to be calling them back.

But that is just the most recent job Lance has done for us.  We own and manage a few rental units in Corvallis.  Through the years Lance has many times re-keyed locks as tenants have moved.  He also has twice re-done kitchen cabinetry to install a slide-in range to place old drop-in.  He has installed kitchen hoods and bathroom fans.  He has refinished window sills and other varied tasks.  He is always the first person I call whenever there is a small construction project.  He usually comes out and completes the work within a day or two.  He is invariably pleasant and professional.  Always reliable and honest.

Lance Craft, the owner of Jiffy Fix, sent an employee to do the work. He reported on time each day and worked the entire day with a break for lunch and no smoke breaks, and was always pleasant. 
He re-installed a corrugated plastic roof over my back porch that had been incorrectly installed earlier and filled screw holes in the plastic. 
He pressure washed my entire house, a single-wide manufactured home, as well as the front deck and back porch.
He swept off the roof and washed the two skylights. 
He painted the back porch and long, narrow front deck and the four sets of steps, as well as the supports for the roofs and the railings. (I supplied the 1 1/2 gallons of paint.)
He repaired a bathroom exhaust fan that had been running loud because the blades were hitting something.
These jobs took several days, but he kept at it. The porches took longer than planned, so another man was sent over the last afternoon to help complete the painting.
These men did an excellent job. The porch roof no longer leaks; the house, roof, and skylights are clean; the fan runs quietly; and the porches and railings look great. There was a second exhaust fan that needed replacing, but because of the configuration of the original installation I was told they couldn't do it, and they referred me to another company. I appreciated that they didn't try to fix something that was beyond their expertise, rather than leave it all apart or do a shoddy job.
My phone calls to Jiffy Fix were answered or returned promptly, and Lance came over in the next day or two to give me an estimate. Given the time these jobs took, I think the cost was reasonable, and appreciated the workmen's attitude and work ethic. 
I will be calling on Jiffy Fix when I have other repairs that need attention.

They were on time and once given the task, worked well on their own. They finished within the time they said they would and the work was done well. Another time they worked for us, the worker was not happy about what he was asked to do. We wanted him to install a curtain rod to hide a new washer and dryer that didn't quite fit the space. He asked if he could work at moving the door so that it looked finished. The washer and dryer were in an alcove of the family room. We said that he should try. He said that there would not be an extra charge unless we were satisfied. It was great. He had to move the door jamb (?) and realign the panelling around it. It now looks as though it was always that way. It definitely looks better than the curtain we had thought was the only option. We were very happy with the work done. We use Jiffy Fix regularly at the rooming houses we own. They are versatile and reliable.

As a Property Manager, I use them all the time for everything. I have used Jiffy Fix for years and have nothing but good things to say. Lance and his crew are great at everything. I know of no one that hasn't been happy with not only the quality of their work but also the affordability of their services.

If we need any kind of little work done if a jiffy I will call them. They are professional and the price is reasonable. They come out quickly. We do not call anyone else for household work.
