File this under "you pay for what you get". (The bid was less expensive.) In September 2012, I hired Fitzpatrick Painting to paint and caulk my house. This included a "10-year warranty" with an inspection by the company every two years. The company provided me with a copy of their fancy "warranty". In July 2019, the paint failed badly on one side of my house. I called Fitzpatrick Painting who sent out one of their "senior" inspectors to examine the issue. The inspector confirmed that the paint did indeed fail and I was entitled to a rework under warranty. Since that time, Tim Fitzpatrick, the owner, has done the best impression of duck, dodge, and hide in taking care of this problem. In 2019, my job was delayed until it was too late in the year. In 2020, he couldn't do it due to COVID. Now, after numerous emails, he appears onsite in August 2021 and has no "recollection" of the problem, the delays, and even the inspector who made the decision in 2019. He now refuses to correct the failure of his company's paint job that his own inspector confirmed. When confronted with his lying and deceitful business practices, he immediately sped off the job site and barely missed hitting his own worker's vehicle. Don't be a victim of this charlatan as I have been. AVOID!

It was a good experience. I have cedar siding that needed to be stained but decided I wanted it painted. Fitzpatrick used a stain that is colored so it looks like it's painted. Lovely! There was a bit of miscommunication regarding the work dates between the salesperson, the office and myself but it was eventually straightened out. The crew was great - showed up on time, worked hard, very pleasant people. I noticed a couple of places that needed touch-up when we did the walk around and the paint lead took care of it right away. I noticed a couple more places a few days later and he came right back and took care of it. I'm very happy with the finished product.

The whole crew was amazing! The Project lead James and Lead Painter Lauren were awesome! They communicated quickly and clearly. We felt that we were a priority to them in doing a great job!

I've used Fitzpatrick carpentry 3 times. I wish now that I'd never dialed their number. The first time I called them it was to fix water getting into my walls during the wetter months. Some damp carpet. They said it was fixed. The second was the next year during the rainy(er) season again for the same problem. Apparently they didn't fix it properly the first time. I was charged (full price, too) again anyway. They said it was fixed. The third time I called them was for new kitchen countertops. They failed to fit my kitchen sink straight -- not awful, but noticeable. And during the work, at the time they were measuring and removing the countertops, I asked to have my center island done with the same laminate as my other kitchen counters. That wasn't agreed on before hand, and the fellow said it would cost ~600 dollars to do that additionally -- which is a **** of a lot for a small laminate countertop. But what could I do; I didn't want my countertops mismatched, and the laminate I chose didn't match the existing island as well as I thought it would. The invoice came: $890 installed. $890 seems quite expensive for an 8sqf laminate island counter top. Now this holiday season I've discovered that they failed last year to fix my leaking water problem. And the damage is much worse than it was when I called them, either time, to fix it. I'm probably going to have to call in my homeowners insurance over it. This is terrible. So take my hard learned advice and don't give Fitzpatrick Painting/Carpentry/whatever ANY of your money or business.

I recommend Fitzpatrick to all my family and friends. In January 2018 I hired Fitzpatrick to paint the interior of my house. Forest the lead came a few days in advance to check out the home and the requirements of the job. The crew arrived on schedule and ready to work every day. The crew Forest, Seth, and Luis were professionals there was no bad language, and they were kind and courteous. They did an excellent job on my place which included the ceilings, cabinets, doors, and trim. I also had a windowsill replace and glue removed from a wall in the kitchen. The two crew who worked on those items did an excellent job. The supervisor came to check the work twice which is great customer service. The house looks great and I am glad I chose Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick crew was in and out in less than 48 hours after closing on Monday before Thanksgiving. Work could not start until after closing and closing date and time was not certain until final papers were filed. Keys were handed over to painters at 5:00PM and work was done by 11:00AM on Wednesday. Refrigerator delivery was made in the middle of the job on Tuesday. Fitzpatrick crew was considerate and completed the job well and actually a few hours faster than contracted. Movers could move in as planned on Friday.

Overall it went well. After the initial painting they had to return to fix things up but overall we were satisfied.

Very well. Washed and painted the entire exterior of our house in 2 days . Overall well done and happy with results.

They were punctual, quiet, polite, and very professional. Every aspect of the work was performed to our complete satisfaction. In fact, they went above and beyond what we could have expected, taking as much care with details as if it were their own house.

Very, very happy. Can't wait until I can have them paint some cabinets. The crew was neat, clean, polite and very efficient. When it is time to have the exterior of our home painted, I will definitely be calling Fitzpatrick Painting.

The entire experience was so much easier than I ever anticipated. I will definitely be hiring them again for future jobs.

It went well.

They flaked on two appointments with me - which was extremely frustrating. In one incident, I flew back from a visit with my sick dad in order to meet w/ a Carpenter from Fitzpatrick. He never showed & when I called to find out where he was, I was told he no longer worked there. They told me that they'd start the painting & then do the Carpentry after the paint was complete. It's been almost months & I have yet to hear from them again.

Did a very professional job on an older house. Very pleased with the result.

Fitzpatrick did an excellent job repairing faulty caulking and touch up painting the joints in our siding. They also painted the trim around several windows. Jesse provided us with the estimate for the job and Lee was the lead painter. They both communicated well with us from start to finish to assure that we got the work done as we wanted it. The crew leader, Elijah, was an excellent craftsman. We really appreciated his attention to detail, his willingness to keep us informed at each step along the way, and his professional yet friendly manner.

Everything about the painting process ran very smoothly. Jesse came soon after I called, looked at the house and sent us a very detailed bid. We did this last fall and didn't have the house painted until August (our choice). We were given an approximate start date, and it was very accurate. Our painting crew was outstanding-the lead painter was Carlos, and we felt so lucky to have him. He was very thorough-and when we decided we had chosen the wrong stain for our shakes, he was very helpful in choosing the new color-and not being upset with us for the redo. We needed to have our front door painted as the western exposure had cracked the wood, and the door wouldn't have looked good refinished with a natural stain. Carlos did a marvelous job with the door, we just love it! We are so happy that we chose Fitzpatrick Painting to do our house!!! I would highly recommend them.
