Chris called the night before the move to confirm the appointment and to make sure everything would be ready on our side. We had boxed all that could be boxed and marked and organized the boxes for their destination (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.). Chris and truck and helper arrived on time, took a walk around the house, gave us some garment boxes and began to load.

They worked quickly and had everything packed in a few hours. We were moving a three-bedroom two bath house so we had a fair amount of stuff.

We were moving about a mile so it took just a few minutes to get to the destination. They unpacked for us, getting boxes in the right rooms. Then they helped set up the bed and arrange the larger furniture. The sofa barely made it through the front door but Chris managed it. He let us know that a shelf on an antique bookcase was coming loose so we could fix it. (Not his fault.)

All in all a very satisfying moving experience.

He showed up on time, gathered all our stuff and took it to the locker to deposit. As it turned out, the locker was smaller than his truck, an he had to spend significant time loading the locker to get all the stuff to fit. It ended up being a very long day (10+ hrs) for them.

My above paragraph summarizes my experience. The firm charges by the hour and worked until we were finished. Everything was moved carefully. They know how to move. They are professional in their manner and work. And at the end I was provided the bill which I felt was very reasonable given all I had to move and the time it took (3 van loads). And the firm picked up my empty tubs and boxes to save me a trip to recycling. Just a terrific experience. Anyone who has moved a lot of furnishings knows how stressful this can be; this firm made it as enjoyable as possible.

They showed up from another job right on time. They began moving items out of the house and packaging into their truck to avoid any damage. They were very thorough. They dinged no walls in any of the premises and none of the items were scratched or damaged. They moved things carefully, methodically, and padded using blankets before securing everything into the truck. They moved plants, large mirrors and delicate large stained glass...even a heavy mother ancient iron and steel safe. All without incident or damage. I would use them again (and plan to).
