I have hired him twice a year for several years and never had a bad experience. He arrives on time, comes in, sets up his tools, and gets to work. I am happy with the tuning job and he always promises to return if I call and ask something else to be adjusted. Occasionally I leave him to finish while I return to work and have been quite comfortable doing so. As a person, Charlie is introverted, but friendly and understands professional music standards well.
Description of Work: Charlie regularly tunes our piano, at least once every six months. The primary service he provides is piano tuning. He also makes other adjustments over time to keep the piano in good condition. Sometimes he needs to make adjustments to the pads, the bed under the keys, or the action. I have found him to be extremely reliable and professional, punctual, and willing to return if anything needs a bit more adjusting due to temperature changes. Charlie is quiet and keeps to himself, works quickly for the task (tuning takes some time, usually about an hour), and I will continue to use his services. The price listed in this report included more work than simply tuning and has seldom been even that high, though I believe that to be a very reasonable price.
