Dan and his crew came out in cold and heavy drizzle/fog to get it done.  We had to go out of town for part of the time and they worked through it without really needing further instruction/input (he was sure to get a clear idea of what I wanted prior to starting the job).  We got back as they were finishing up, they had to leave some framing on the steps along the garage because it hadn't 'set' yet... which was fine.  But they said they'd return to remove it and never did.  I called a few times about it, they gave me some suggestions for doing it myself, but I was not able to get the wood off.  I was later told they'd just stop by around some other jobs, but never did.  We ended up selling the house a year and a half later and it still had the steps framed.  It was enough of an 'out of sight-out of mind' issue and benign enough that it wasn't a priority for me to have addressed, but it was annoying that they had said they'd get it and didn't.  That's really my only complaint.  The job was done well.  Correspondence wasn't great, but was acceptable.  But the guys really did work hard through some unpleasant weather and they were able to get a miserable job done before the weather really got bad.  The new driveway space drained well and provided all the space we needed (and then some).  :)  They also re-stoned the remainder of our driveway while they were having the stone company deliver rock for their project, and they did a great job on that even though it was a bit outside of what I had hired them to do (it was at an agreed upon additional price, but it was something we were going to hire someone to do anyway).  It worked out well.

We got 3 estimates before we started this project. Of the 3 estimates, Campbell Construction NW gave me the best idea of how they were going to deliver my concept to a reality. The estimate was fair and complete. I felt Daniel was knowledgeable in his trade. Daniel, Chris and Joe provided professional and outstanding workmanship in completing this concrete job. They made a new concrete patio and walkway in the backyard and a new curb-retaining wall and walkway in the front that enabled us to now walk around our home. In the patio area, they framed out and poured a patio that was 4 times bigger than the original one;they provided steps that provided for a more gradual, safer exit from the house; they added a 60 by 3 foot walkway from the patio to the back gate. Then they provided me a front retaining wall-curb and a 40 by 3 foot walkway that required removal of more rocks before they could frame and pour. The results are stunning in both workmanship and beauty. All 3 men worked hard, were professional. were courteous and were gentlemen. We got great results from this outstanding company, Campbell Construction NW. I highly recommend this company.
