We moved to the area recently and I hadn't yet selected a vet. Then my dog got sick. After researching on Angie's list, I called in the morning because he had been straining to deficate for about 3 days and it wasn't getting better. I was really worried about a possible intestinal blockage and knew if it was that, the costs could run into the thousands. So I checked costs and I think the exam fee of $59 is a little lower than the average for the area, which I took to be a good sign along with the 100% positive reviews.
Alpine Animal Hospital got me in right away that afternoon. (I was reassured that Fergus' symptoms were not life-threatening and it would be safe to hold off till there was an appointment space.) When I got there the waiting room was clean, and bright and ROOMY so the lady with the two cats could sit on the other side without having to have my dog in her cats' faces. That made it easier. The appointment happened on time, Both the vet technician and the Vet Dr. Clark were really dog-friendly and made my dog feel safe. Dr. Clark was able to diagnose the problem right away. (Tapeworms from gobbling mice.) He took time to answer some other questions I had and I enrolled on the Alpine Animal Hospital web portal which will remind me of when I need to take Fergus in for vaccinations, etc. They also asked for the name of my former vet and had my doggie boy's records emailed to them before the appointment. I felt very comfortable and satisfied and as far as we are concerned we have our vet!

This is a difficult time for my wife and me as we are about to lose our dog. Dr. Clark is helping our dog and us get through these final weeks together with understanding and caring. We appreciate his support.

They are wonderful. I've used them for 5 years. It is a very laid back office and they always treat me very well. The doctors are good and the staff is helpful. The assistants are all really good with the animals. It has been a good experience. Their prices are very good. They have good people there.

Every time we've had an appointment for our Golden Retriever, things go smoothly from the time we walk in the door until we leave. The staff know how to listen to the humans and take care of the animals.

We were not present for any of the treatment so can only report that the vet called us after cleaning was over to say that all was well and that the animals were in recovery. We dropped them off before work (~8 a.m.) and picked them up after (~ 5 p.m.). Both cat and dog seemed in stable and relatively normal condition by this point, but we were given advice about possible side-effects of anesthesia on eating and digestion. We subsequently observed no marked side effects and would say that the teeth-cleaning is very likely wise and beneficial, if comparatively expensive. The general experience in this instance at Alpine is consistent with our overall impression of their care and quality.

One of our stock dogs turned up in the morning with a swollen mouth and bent canine. We phoned and scheduled a 2 pm appointment. Dr. Clarke said best to sedate the dog and remove it as it had broken below the gum line. We decided to leave the dog there for the night, because it made sense and it was 95 degrees out. We picked up the dog the next morning and have been treating the dog with doggy downers and antibiotics..Dog is responding very well. We have great trust and respect for this clinic's work and attitude.

The last time we were there was for shots and an exam for one. I just think that the veterinarians there are excellent. I have seen them all.
