MURPHY'S FURNITURE

They are very friendly and helpful. They have always gone out of their way to make sure I find what I want. We have purchased many things from them over the years. Very high quality furniture.

I needed new handle brackets for my buffet. I had chosen a rather exspensive set when they offered to show me their discount brackets, I walked out spending less than $2 and with 6 new handle brackets. Great customer service showing me lower cost items when they didn't have to.

We visited Murphy's Furniture looking for a pine cabinet at least 51" high, 3' wide and at least 14" deep.  They had exactly what we
wanted.  The transaction took approximately ten minutes.  Our "visit" lasted about an hour because each time we enter "Murphy's"
we are treated like family and there is always catching-up to do not to mention interesting conversations concerning local and national
events.

We have no doubt that the cabinet will be finished to match existing "office" furniture and that it will be delivered and set into place by
Murphy's friendly, courteous and obliging family members.

We needed a solid wood cabinet to hold our TV and all our audio equipment, with doors that would close over the TV, in a style that would blend with our old house, and finished to match our woodwork. We also wanted it to be all wood, including inside, and no particle-board. Murphy's does all wood. We talked to Mary, one of the Murphy sisters who own the shop, and she was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. She showed us examples of armoires and entertainment centers, and we chose one of them as the basic model of what we wanted. They built the armoire for us with custom shelves to fit what we needed so it would hold our TV and all our equipment. Then they finished the piece it to match our existing woodwork. They delivered it, on time and at a time that was convenient for us. Mary called us later to see if we were happy with it and everything was okay.
