MIKE'S CUSTOM CABINETS

Listened to what we wanted and made it happen. Very helpful when we were considering options. Cabinets turned out so much better than we expected. Everything was perfect. Install went smoothly and they were very considerate. Contractor and subs all commented on quality of work, square and level.

I'm not going to write a book about how impressed and all the detail's of this experience....just the facts.

I solicited 5 quotes. 3 from box built suppliers and 2 from custom cabinet makers including installation. Mike's TOTAL price was not the lowest and not the highest. The person I dealt with at Mike's is one of the owners, Royce. From the very first meeting to the completion of the project I felt like I was the only customer he had. Details, design changes, follow ups, schedules, and most importantly the personal interaction is what we all want to experience in a positive relationship. I got that. The bonus was the incredible quality that is included with this endeavor.

Oh yah, it should be noted that I used Mike's Custom Cabinets 24 years ago when I had a customer home built....and the person I dealt with then was Mike. Tradition lives on.

We worked with Mike Jr. from Mike's Custom Cabinets. He was very patient (:and gt;) with our various design options and offered some great suggestions for our project. The work was done quickly and the reinstall of the mix of existing cabinets and new cabinets went swiftly with the outcome being perfect. Everyone thinks we got all new cabinets since they all match so well. We highly recommend this company, you will not be disappointed.

Mike's Custom Cabinets were excellent. Their job is perfect, it is beautiful. Everything was excellent, he came out and I had measured and determined what I wanted. He came out and re-measured, and gave me a bit on the job and stuck to it. He did everything, the finish work, the knobs and everything. I wanted to keep my upper cabinets the way they were, he matched them perfectly. Everything he did was really superior work craftsmanship. I had a great experience with these people. I wouldn't call anybody else. From what I have heard, people who have used him in the past have called him out when they have done another remodel. He has a lot of repeat customers and I just think that everything that he does, he got here on time, the installation was perfect, the guys worked really hard and they worked continually until it was done. It was just really really nice! They were great to work with.They are doing bathroom vanity for me right now

These are the best people to work with! They are prompt, responsive, helpful, personable - I really cannot say enough good things about them. We were completely redoing a kitchen in a vintage home, and trying to achieve it all in 6 weeks. They understood the deadline and met or beat it every step of the way. Mike Jr sat down with us to design everything, customizing things to fit our lifestyle and some odd measurements in an old house. The three-dimensional drawings he provided enabled me to really visualize the end look, which gave me great confidence and eased my nerves.

We spent about $12000 on that service.

I visited their showroom in Cornelius and provided the width, height, and depth requirements the cabinet had to fit into. Mike and I worked on 3 or 4 different designs; for each he provided a scaled CAD drawing to review. Eventually we added a wine rack section and reversed the doors; the upper (taller) doors became the lower doors. He also made 3 side panels to match the front doors. I found Mike very easy to work with and flexible. When it's time for a new kitchen counter top he'll be involved!
