Max's Landscaping is run by Max and Robin. Several weeks ago, we asked them to quote on a backyard revitalization job. We choose Max's Landscaping not just because their quote came in the lowest, but also because they were responsive and engaged through the estimate progress; many other landscapers did not even call us back when they realized it wasn't a jumbo job.
The job has gone well from start to finish, and we have already asked Max to come back and do more work for us. We would recommend them to anyone (and everyone!) for the following reasons:
1. Max is an expert. He knows his stuff when it comes to plants and growing things, hardscaping, and maintenance. This means he advises on what is best for your situation, rather than just doing what he's asked to do. Example: our yard is very shady, and we asked Max to install sod. He and Robin investigated and recommended that we seed with a special high shade variety rather than install sod that was not suited for the area.
2. Max is a perfectionist. He does a meticulous, careful job. Everything he did, from seeding to cleaning to mulching, was done in a neat and tidy manner. He takes pride in his work, and has come back several times to check on the progress of the grass even though that was not part of the estimate.
3. Max works hard. He is exceptionally efficient, too. It is amazing to watch him. Really he should charge double per hour because he works like two.
4. Robin keeps everything organized and maintains Max's schedule. She is very communicative, and willing to communicate via email or phone -- whatever the client prefers. This is important because Max is busy --- probably because he is so good! He is booked out several weeks and is juggling multiple jobs. It works, because Robin is readily available, stays in touch, and keeps things coordinated.
5. Max's Landscaping prices are reasonable. We feel that we got exceptional value for the price we paid. We are now planning a number of other projects.
In summary, we highly recommend Max's Landscaping. They provide high quality service, expertise, and efficient work at a very reasonable price. We are pleased we found them and will be hiring them again.

Max (and Robin) are very professional and conscientious. Robin manages scheduling via email, which is very convenient, and she always responds quickly. Max arrives when scheduled and does meticulous work and clean-up. Our (1/3 acre) yard has never looked better!

Max works VERY hard. He is punctual, fast and consistently under promises and over delivers for very reasonable prices. I recommend him and his work without reservation. Robin makes it very easy to schedule and communicate by email so nothing is miscommunicated.
