I initially contacted No Bull because they are the only local contractor that is a member of the Better Business Bureau. They gave me a firm, quite reasonable, quote for the work we knew we needed. We understood that more might be required once they removed the bathtub from the guest bathroom.
They started work the day they promised, and they had somebody working the job five days a week until it was completed. The charges for the unexpected work were quite reasonable. Jon, the lead on the job, seems to know every aspect of construction--flooring, framing, plumbing, electrical, etc. The two guys that worked under him were skilled, enthusiastic, and polite.
We had them do work that we had not originally specified, and they did that cheerfully and at a reasonable cost.
We only had to call them back when we discovered that the new bathtub single-lever faucet would not provide very hot water. They found that the faucet was delivered with an anti-scald feature set too aggressively.
