This job took MONTHS to complete. We signed a contract for and $11,000 roof in September and were promised it would happen the first week of October. No phone calls, emails, or other communication and no roofers. As of the middle of October, we were told it would be started that weekend. It was not. In fact, they did not complete the roof until the third week of November.

The crew worked less than 3 hours a day. They took smoke breaks, personal calls, and wandered around my yard for hours. There was never more than two men working, yet I was being charged for 3.

We were given a bid/change order for some plywood sheeting that needed to be replaced. The bid for the entire roof was under $4,000. The crew ended up only needing to do half the roof, yet I was charged $3,100 for half the wood, man hours, and materials used.

When the gutter people came to put the gutters on, there was dry rot that we told had been repaired (and were charged for) that was not touched. It took two more trips and several back and forth phone calls between myself, the roofers, and the gutter folks before it was finally resolved.

I will NEVER hire this company again. Granted the roof looks nice, but the hassle, padding of the bill and hours, and professionalism was not worth the stress.

The project went very well. The workers were very professional and did quality work. They also cleaned up very nicely every day.

The crew arrived on time with all materials necessary for the job. They tore off the old roof, scraped out rot, replaced roofing, sealed it, put up tar paper, shingles and even placed Dcon in a old mouse hole. They painted and put up the new boards and cleaned up the mess so the place looked like they had never been there. Then they we're gone after a job well done and they honored the bid price.

We relied on our renter to manage onsite repairs, but my contact with them was always professional. They used qualified subs and did an excellent job.

The job took a couple of days longer that promised because the son of the guy doing most of the work got hurt so the father was working alone. That's why I gave it a B - took longer than promised. We had a leak around one of the bathroom vents at the first rain. They were out to fix it within a day. Did a first class presentation on the estimate, providing contacts for former clients for references. They gave us a 10% senior citizen discount on materials. We were very pleased with the final outcome.

They were prompt and personable. They got the job done in a timely manner and did a great job. This was over 10 years ago and I have not had not had any problems. I would highly recommend them.
