Straight Cut Floors

Jeff did a wonderful job! Each cut is perfect and he added molding without being asked to make the transition from the fireplace to floor look great. He is really an artist and knows how to make everything look just right. He removed and disposed of the old carpet, painted the sub floor with sealant to remove old pet odors, laid a new pad & the laminate over a two-day period. I got three bids and Jeff's was the lowest, the highest bid was 40% higher. Jeff bought the flooring with his discount and brought me the receipt for reimbursement, so I knew I was only paying his cost for materials with no mark-up. Jeff is great to work with, I recommend him highly.

The only reason we hired Straight Cut Construction was because Lynch Brothers Flooring bailed out on our job to do a more lucrative project. (See review of Lynch Brothers for more details.) Boy, am I glad we found Jeff Lee at Straight Cut Construction. I could not imagine anyone else taking the time that was required to make this difficult project turn out so stunning. Everything about Jeff's business and work ethics is top notch. We had numerous quotes on this project from independent contractors to large flooring companies and Straight Cut's package was the most complete. The larger companies won't touch your appliances, toilets or trim. Most of the smaller independent guys ''nickel and dime'' you for all of the little things that Straight Cut includes in his price. We could not be happier with our new floors.

Jeff and his crew were excellent. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new floor. He went the extra mile and really went over and above any contractor we have used in the past. He was timely, honest, and answered all my questions and concerns. He stands behind his word.

Jeff provided superior service in all aspects of his work. He was always punctual, detail oriented, diligent, and was not satisfied until I was. He did a great job, was reasonably priced, and cleaned up without asking.
