This is the second time I hired them since they did a good job the first time when I had my deck replaced with pavers. The problem I have with them is that the workers do not know how to plant plants. several of the of plants died. I had to replant at least 5 plants. When I was replanting (one blew out of its hole on a windy day) I found that they only dug the holes just big enough for the plant to fit then plopped the plant in. They were very sickly looking until I replanted. Also, a friend of mine just recently used them to re-do pavers, she had her dogs come in stinking of poo. She then found a spot behind her shed where one of the workers pooped and left their wipes right there. They could have at least buried it or put it in a bag to put in the garbage. Needless to say it ended up being a job of cleaning 3 dogs and the mess itself.

The team arrived on time and efficiently completed the job at a reasonable price. My gate was sticking. He evaluated it to fix it for me. It now works fine!

I had trouble getting details from Shannon as he went on vacation while the work was being done. Part of the problem was that the original bid included 4" of concrete and 4" of base.  The sub only bid 4" of concrete and 2" of base.  This was brought to the attention of Shannon office and the contract was reduced  to the amount finally paid.  I probably would not use them again as I did all of my contact with the Sub and could of saved any profit to Shannon who only gave me the first bid and then paid the sub.

The end result was that I was pleased with the work done and feel that the price was reasonable. The work was done in a timely manner and I am happy with the results

Mr. Shannon arrived as scheduled.  Asked questions and gave us a fair bid on the work.  Crystal Stone called to confirm a day for Alex's team to show up.  They arrived promptly at 8:00 and left at noon.  The job was perfect.

They came out the day after I first contacted them to take measurements.  They said they would get back to me with a price. I gave them about a week and started calling.  I left one message and the woman I spoke with said she'd get right back with me.  I know they're busy but I'm going to be out of the country for the next two weeks and can't afford to have this balance sitting out there with no work done.  I know it's been the holidays and they are probably busy but I'm going to ask Angie's List for my money back for the time being.

Came on time, very clean and good cleanup. All works as described and as requested. The crew is great.

Brian from Shannon Landscaping  came out and proposed a system of a French Drain for our yard to eliminate the lake in our yard from rain run off. The design was very thorough and exactly what we were looking for. The crew showed up exactly when they were suppose to and were able to finish in a day, they left everything very clean and back to it original condition. With all the Oregon rain this week it is working very well, I have no standing water any more. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

First appointment we had some confusion but second appointment was prompt and efficient and on a Saturday so we could bo be present.  Gave us the price immediately, added more to his services as we walked the yard.  Called us Monday and schedule for Tuesday.  The workers came and completed all the work in one day.  Two items were missed and they were very willing to come back out and complete those items before payment.  It is nice to have an office person who can take calls and share messages back and forth.  It is understandable that landscaping personnel cannot be reached immediately so having someone to talk to provides excellent customer focus and service.  

They went above and beyond they put the decorative white Rock back and blew out all the leaves that had fall. Besides what was asked to be done

I am a wanna be gardener but really don't know where to start.  I got a planting plan from a landscape designer with the idea that I could do it myself. I had 4 mature coniferous shrubs that I wanted removed and realized soon that the job was more than what I wanted to handle. I contacted Shannon Landscape & Construction and Brian Shannon came out within a week to look at my project. He gave me a verbal estimate of $1500 and said they could get to it this fall.  The next day I received the written proposal and scheduled it for the following week. The project included removing all old existing sod, removing old shrubs, trimming all other remaining shrubbery and trees (which included one maple and one ornamental cherry), clean up and haul away all debris, bring in 3 yards soil mix.  Prep the ground for the lawn and garden beds. Install approx 200 sq ft of sod. The estimate included all labor, material and equipment and estimated a 3 man crew for 7.5 hours.
    The crew arrived right on time and worked very quickly.  So quickly that they were done in about 4 hours - so I asked if they could do some yard clean up in the back.  Alex, the crew foreman called the office and got the go  ahead to do that and in another 1.5 hours had cleaned up and removed a lot of overgrown plant material.
     Everyone I spoke with at this company is very professional.  It was a pleasure doing business with them and I will definitely be using them again.

The service went well. They removed a load of bushes and planted small trees. Three technicians came out and completed the job in 8 hours. They were very professional and on time. They did a great job. They were great with the cleanup afterwards and I had no problem scheduling the service.

Brian Shannon is a very nice person to do business with.  He has a fantastic crew of workers who work well as a team.  We were given a schedule of when the crew would be onsite and I was impressed with the time management skills that the workers displayed.  They arrived earlier than expected and wasted no time starting their work day.  We rarely saw them take a break, real hard working group!  The crew foreman was great about keeping us informed of their  progress and any changes, concerns or questions that came up.  We hadn't been aware of the driveway drain system problem, but the foreman noted it and explained to us that this certainly had not helped the settling problem with the original step. They completed all items on our list in a reasonable amount of time and we were very pleased with the results. The crew was courteous and seemed to take pride in the job they do. All trash resulting from the work performed was hauled away. And the crew were good about sweeping, racking, and using a blower to cleanup. With the number and type of tasks we requested and the professional results, we considered the charges to be reasonable.

Crew of three showed up before 7 AM and worked until nearly 3 in the afternoon.

They trimmed a grossly 70 foot long, overgrown hedge, removed overgrown blackberry bushes, trimmed and shaped a holly tree,

removed dead branches in our Sunburst Honey Locust and trimmed our lilacs.  We regained at least a 15 X 70 foot strip of our back yard do to their efforts.

The service went well. A crew of about 5 guys came out for the job and completed the service in 1 day. The staff did nice work and did everything I needed done. Everything looked great afterwards. They were great the cleanup and I had no problem scheduling the service.

It popped out of the ground in one place, there's absolutely no gravel on it and it's worthless. I have to replace the lawn because they put the wrong kind of grassing. They didn't follow through with anything. When they went in to replace the sod, the drain filled popped up and I was right there. The price was expensive. I took pictures of everything and i considered suing at that time but I'm not well.

From the first phone call to Marie in the office, planning the work and materials with Brian, and the very efficient crew who worked so hard, everyone at Shannon Landscape & Construction did their work professionally, and in a timely manner. After an amended proposal was agreed upon, the crew started on Monday, September 30th, and finished on Friday, October 3rd.  Each day work started on time and continued till the clean-up at the end of each day.  Although we were impressed at the final inspection, and paid the total billing amount, two days later I noticed that a line of river rock placed over the French drain was not extended the full three feet from the foundation as described in the final proposal.  I called Marie, who alerted Brian, who sent two men to correct the problem right away.  We have received many compliments and how clean and well designed our yard looks now.  Great Job!

We couldn't be more satisfied with Mr. Shannon's work.  He and his crew were prompt to early, and Brian personally delivered rock and bark to help with this project.  The transformation was amazing, as was the service.  Our rate was hourly, and his crew wasted NO TIME AT ALL.  They did in a few hours what it would have taken me DAYS to do.  Plus my wife said Mr. Shannon is a snappy dresser for a gardener type :)
I would highly recommend and will use his services again.

Brian was exceedingly prompt with getting back to me and making it work with my busy schedule to come give me estimate on the job. A team of four showed up at 7am and worked until 4:00 pm. They removed the old lawn and brought in soil to level out the yard. They installed sod in my front yard and now it looks wonderful. His crew also fixed my sprinkler system so that all the lawn is now being watered evenly. I am very pleased with their work and would definitely hire them again.
