I cannot say enough good things about these guys. We needed a re-piping and they sent Kyle to help us out. Kyle was actually specifically referred to me by our neighbors and this man was the real deal. From the estimate to actual completion of work, Kyle was on time, hard working, communicative, knowledgable, and extremely accomodating to our schedule and needs. He made a seemingly painful process, well, painless. Re-piping ones house is expensive and invasive - it was not something any of us were looking forward to. Kyle knocked it out in about a week and did stellar work. He's a pretty cool guy on top of that. My wife and I would abosultely recommend Rescue Rooter for any plumbing needs. Thanks, Kyle!

They came to inspect a clogged drain pipe due to tree roots. Could not auger the pipe. Dug out and replaced damaged pipes the next morning. Refused to itemize bill, charging $4,485.20. Could only explain about $2,100 of the cost. Seemed like piracy. But wait, it gets worse! They promised a manager would contact us to discuss the bill. They never did. Just put in a claim on our credit. But the week after the work was done the tub stopped draining and we had to call another better plumber to fix this. So in the end we spent an additional $400 to complete Rescue Rooters s***** expensive work AND they dinged our credit. Dont just walk away, run. These people are awful.

I called rescue rooter to clear a clogged drain. They came out, quoted me $300 (wow!) and got to work. After about 15 minutes, they determined they couldn't clear it, told me they wouldn't charge me and gave me a quote to replace to bathtub line. After they walked out the door, I couldn't stop laughing at the OUTRAGEOUS quote they gave me. I then called a higher rated plumber and was quoted about 75% less than Rescue Rooter. THEN when the pipe was cut out, I looked inside to see the clog and there was a snapped off drain snake in my pipes. It was Rescue Rooters drain snake. I know this because 1) they were talking about snapping a drain snake and 2) there was no rust or corrosion on the metal snake and the snap point on the metal snake was fresh. If you snap a drain snake off in my drain, don't tell me about it and then give me a gouging quote to fix, I will tell everyone. Price gouging in the current environment is shameful. You don't deserve the business of Angie's list, their customers deserve better than you.

I had to call to have a toilet fixed for a senior relative on a Sunday. The customer relations staff were very helpful and pleasant. The tech, Dustin, that came to do the work was unphased by the unpleasant situation. He was understanding, super helpful and did a great job.

I called them the evening of the 30th, and did confirm with them that this was a repair that was an emergency. When we spoke, they informed me that they would call me before going to the house, and they also told me that they would give me an estimate before doing any work. They never called me, and simply showed up to my house while I was out, but my wife was in. The gentleman gave her an outrageous estimate, to which she agreed because we needed to get this done. The gentleman did a fine job repairing it, but I cannot believe how outrageous the price was. I feel like we've been hoodwinked.

“Bait and Switch” on the $88.00 special. Serviceman took one look and quoted $350 plus with a one year guarantee. After robust discussion he agreed to “make the customer happy” and work was done in 15 minutes at $88.00

Don't fall for their $88 special! On the phone they'll tell you that opening the drain will cost $88. When they arrive it's "Oh, that's for a different service."

I returned from vacation to find my sink totally clogged, nothing would go down. I called Jack Howk and even though it was after hours they answered the phone and set me up for someone to come the next day. I got a call when the tech was on his way. He was prompt and very professional and helpful. He assessed the problem quickly, and ended up staying for several hours, as more was needed than initially it seemed. Because of my work schedule, it would have been very difficult to have him come back a different day to finish the job, so he was kind enough to just get it all done. In the end, he cleared the drain, replaced the leaking pipe, and replaced the faulty faucet with a new one. Ace hardware is right around the corner, and he had to pop over there a couple times to get the correct items (including the new faucet). He was courteous, patient, and did a great job. I was really happy with the service.

I was very grumpy about having to this. They were great. I trusted them. I had a good experience with them. They were willing to explain things to me knowing that I was a very conscientious customer and verify. They were good to work with my tenants. I think they were pretty solid.

Plumbing emergencies are a real drag. Rescue Rooter saved the day for my emergency. The dispatcher was incredibly helpful and professional when scheduling my project. She also followed up with me twice: 1) to tell me my estimated service window timing and 2) when my tech, Landon, was en route. I was very impressed with the customer service! Landon was so professional, helpful and friendly. He really knows his plumbing! He fully explained my repair options and once I approved a course of action, cut small pieces of drywall to take for asbestos testing. After the asbestos test proved that we could move forward without the need for remediation team involvement, he returned to my house to fix the leaks. If I run into plumbing issues again, I'll be calling Rescue Rooter and specifically requesting Landon. He's the best!

The fact that he referred this guy the sub contractor you think they would refer a quality, a qualified person. They were here he seemed like a nice guy but I don't remember a good experience cause we were so overwhelmed with the septic thing. It was frustrating and he came out they tried and I give them that much but then they said that it's kind of out of their hands I think. He's was a nice guy and we got a long well with him and he did his thing I think was just frustrating because he was the one that recommended this subcontractor and I think that's where it went bad.

We had a very bad leak and Chris showed up in the evening to look at it. He was unable to fix it but plugged the leak so that we could have our water turned back on. Larry came in the following day and fixed the broken pipe and installed a new fixture. Both were very professional and did the job well.
