We were very pleased with all the work. She turned an awkward space into a really functional one with some thoughtful changes in the floor plan, and clever space-saving cabinet features. She gave us a couple of design options for some new cabinets, and we easily chose her design of a custom free-standing piece over built-in cabinets. The scale and style of the design were perfect for the space with no revisions. She really understood what we were looking for and translated it into drawings well. She provided appropriate drawings to the cabinet maker. She was also professional, on time, on budget. No drama.

It went very smoothly. Though she does full blown kitchen designs, she was willing to work with us on just the part where we needed help, which was very nice. She showed us how we could move our stove, where we couldn't see where we had room to move it. She made the space so much more usable by changing slightly the proportions of some cabinets, and managed to find us more storage space and counter space in a small, tight kitchen. She also created a much more aesthetically appealing solution to some cabinets by designing some furniture pieces that could be used instead of cabinets, and adding more glass cabinet doors and open storage spaces. We have more storage, and a lighter, airier feeling. She also introduced us to finishes we didn't know existed in granite that made it much more consistent with our 1925 home. She was creative, professional, efficient, a pleasure to work with.
