As we got closer, I started dealing with Ben who was the project manager. I had sent off the colors I wanted and he had lost the email during the time gap. I forwarded him the original email because I kept it. Pablo was the foreman on site once the job began. He was polite and professional. He explained to me what the process was going to be. Pablo did not mention the walkway or the fence. When I brought it up, he said he wasn't given a work order. They told him over the phone that the house needed to be painted. He did call to verify and then knew what the entire scope of the project was supposed to be.
Pablo and two others painted the house in a single day working over 10 hours a piece. It was a perfect sunny day to do it. They did really good, efficient job. We walked the house afterwards and touched up anything we found. Matter of fact, heavy rain moved in a few hours after they left. I walked the house the next day and found nothing wrong with the paint. Good stuff.
Pablo came back after the weekend to work on the fence and clean the walkways. Turns out the wood for the fence was pretty rotted. They got me a quote to replace the boards before staining. I agreed to it and two of them were on site for another 4-5 hours replacing the wood, cleaning the walkways and then staining the fence. I am happy I replaced the boards as it looks fantastic. I told them roughly what color of stain I wanted and what the picked was perfect.
Once it came time for payment, I dealt with Kim. Paid for most of it in cash and charged the rest. They charge a 3% convenience on the total charged. I had noticed it had been a few days without a charge showing up on my card. I contacted them and they told me to wait a couple of days because they did run the card. I had to ask how long it should take and what tells them payment was successful. Finally they said it was declined because they had the wrong card number. I gave it to them again over the phone and the charge went though.
Overall, they did a good job. The actual job was done really well and professionally. They just had a few hiccups on the administrative side with not holding on to information provided, communication with their employees, and communication with payment issues. Those were all resolved so I would recommend them and use them again.

"This job was completed at high season and we were lacking in staff when we started the job. Our project manager was too tied up on other projects and didn't pay special attention to [member name removed]. We also put a helper on the project who has since been terminated for leaving his mess of paint drips & paint chips and not doing a good job cleaning them up. As for the project timeline, better expectations should have been set prior to starting since it is high season, and when we get rain it slows us down. Also, our project manager didn't take the time to call Pat to let her know when our painters would be showing up each day, and that is unacceptable and we will do our very best to make sure that doesn't happen again with another client. We are going back this next week to clean up one more time, do the touch-ups Pat wants done, and adjust the frame on her new front door so there is not gap on the bottom. I appreciate the feedback Pat left as it helps us improve our process and customer service."
from Dan Green of Green Pinte Design & Construction, Inc. His pricing was fair and reasonable, I was
pleasantly surprised by his professionalism having worked with some contractors
who were far less involved. Everything was clearly and distinctly pointed out and explained as to what service was
involved and how the painting would proceed. The paper work was clear stated and promptly delivered to me.
Dan called to explain each day's progress and what to expect, so there were no surprisesor unexpected strangers at my door.
Pete the supervisor watched over the whole process personally and did the main body spraying.
Once the weather co-operated the process unfolded without a hitch. The painters were neat, did not leave a mess
when they were done and were conscious of my personal space and need for peaceand quite as I operate my business out of my home.
There was no blow bye or strong paint order while painting. I hardly noticed the painters were present except for the few occasions they had to use the extended latter for my 12 foot ceilings on the outside. Even climbing on the roof to lay on their belly to paint an unreachable gutter.
The house is bright, shiny and new looking now. I am
delighted with the finished job and the process.
I will use Greene Pointe Design & Construction, Inc for any future work on my
home.
when we contracted with them to paint our home. The whole experience was very
positive, everything from pricing to professionalism on the job. Dan and his team met all their commitments
and the attention to details were great. His team cleaned, calked, primed, sanded, and
even replaced certain areas of siding and sofit vents for us ahead of the
painting to ensure best results possible. Dan was very thurough as part
of the quote process for the job. He met
with us personally and walked the house and took the time to explain the
details of what would be done to ensure we were all on same page. He explained the paint options and helped us
select a grade that fit our future plans with the house.
They were on site for a total of 3 days, they
were friendly, organized and never left the site a mess and spent time each day
walking the house and collecting any garbage. I will be looking to use them for
any other projects I have in the future and would be happy to recommend their
work to anyone.
"Thank you (member name removed) for the wonderful review! It was a pleasure working with you on your project!"
