Excellent.

The crew at Giron was excellent from start to finish. They called back promptly regarding initial estimate. When they found we were in a hurry to have our roof done as the rest of a home project was on hold due to a leak they moved us up urgently. Guimis spoke with our contractor to coordinate his requests and sent me updates with pictures, notes, and updated price estimates based upon some plywood which was dry-rotted. They finished on-time, right on budget and cleaned our yard and driveway extremely well. Honestly, I cannot think of a single thing they could have done any better. All the way through the service was fantastic. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone looking at having roofing work done.

From start to finish, it's been a great experience. I called to request a quote for an evaluation of our roof condition. Teo came out the next day, was very friendly to my stay-at-home hubby & our 2 kids as he did a thorough job of inspecting our roof. He let us know some of what we already knew - that our roof was nearing the end of its life, but he suggested a couple options - one for $480 for complete a by-hand moss removal, applying a moss treatment, and then replace the broken shingles, pipe flashings & metal vents, which he mentioned could extend the roof life for another 1-2 years. He then also provided a very detailed quote for replacing our flat carport roof ($2090) and our House Roof ($5510). We were concerned about the state of the support posts on the carport - no problem! His carpenter came out a day later to inspect those, and we were quoted a VERY fair $360 to replace those posts. We got quotes from 4 different roofing companies. Giron's quote was the best price, and just as thorough as the highest priced bidder, and we just instantly felt comfortable that Teo and his crew would do a great job! They had to wait about a week for us to trim up a large tree in our back yard before the new roof, and then only 1 weather delay of only a few days, and his crew got to work. Only 2 days later, we had our new roof, and it looks amazing. Only one small hiccup - they ran out of roofing material with just a small spot to go - on the flat carport roof, but they were out a couple days later once the supplies had come in, to finish that off. Teo also let us know that Malarkey was offering a deal for a 50-year warranty on certain colors (and we picked one of those), so now we have no worries for the next 50 years! From start to finish, and awesome job, and it looks like a whole new house! THANK YOU! Oh! And Teo's crew noticed that we had a broken gutter coming off the carport - and had it replaced, no charge. We feel blessed to have found a company that really cares about its customers. And one more item - while they were on the roof, they noticed our chimney needed repair (we thought the old homeowners had fixed that after it came up in the original home inspection - evidently not!) But no problem! Teo will be sending one of his guys out to fix that at the next break in the weather. We are happy to recommend them to anyone who needs roof replacement, or just roof servicing!

We used Angie's List to find Giron and my wife and I now highly recommend Giron. The job was done at the quoted price and the product (the roof and gutters) turned out better than we expected. My wife loves the way the spanish green gutters look on the house and I like the 50 year, algicidal shingles (no moss for 30 years). Five of my neighbors (our houses are all about 22 years old) asked for Giron's number after the job was completed and I was glad to give it to them. Giron gets a hardy two thumbs up.

I have been very impressed with the entire process of this project, from the initial meeting and discussion of what i wanted including my cost limits. I was contacted the same day after my initial inquiry on the phone. We had several discussion and e-mailed information about the various options for shingles, and skylights, their placement and the total cost of the project. Once all the details were decided and approved, a start date based on weather forecasts was determined. The project started within 3 days of final approval and contract signing. Once the project started i was introduced to all the people who would work on the project the first day and others as their part in the project occurred. Also the project lead was identified to answer any questions i might have, and i had a lot. Teo Giron encouraged my questions and everyone was willing to answer the many questions i had throughout the project. The project started on a Friday with the old roof tear off where it was discovered there were 2 layers of shingles not one, an addition to the final cost. When Fridays work was completed i was told they would return on Saturday taking advantage of the good weather to more quickly complete the roof. The skylight installation began on Monday as the roofing was almost completed. The kitchen skylight installation included electrical work to remove an existing light fixture and add a box for the disconnected wiring, and sheet-rocking the original hole which was larger than the skylight. The project was completed on Tuesday with the final kitchen ceiling work and resetting of the skylight where a problem had been identified and which was more complex than anticipated. I was impressed with their diligence in fixing the problem correctly even though it took additional time. I have to say they were meticulous about completing all the cork correctly and well. I asked for a personal roof inspection, which was done twice due to some additional concerns i identified after the first inspection. The clean-up was through and the entire ground area was cleaned up, and a magnet rolled to pick up any metal which may have been left behind. Once completed, i was given the Ok to park in the driveway and feel secure there would be no metal left behind which could damage my tires. We reviewed the final bill in detail and agreed upon the final cost. I was given the roofing warranty information and Giron Constructions warranty ,and my last questions were answered. We also discussed a potential future project. I could not be more satisfied with how this project proceeded from start to finish. Teo and everyone on this project were very professional, answered my many questions promptly and in detail. They were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. This is a small company so they are all very aware of the impact of quality work and good customer service. I would recommend Giron Construction to my friends and would certainly use them again for other projects. I recommend them very highly.

Teo's company was prompt, courteous and professional. They took pictures, however those were never sent to me, nor were the pictures of the finished work. Upon finishing their work, they gave a review of our roof's condition overall and offered recommendations.

Our experience with them went pretty well. In the beginning it was really great but near the end they were kind of distant and hard to get a hold of. We had multiple projects. At the beginning they showed up and was quick. They were professional. They would give us quotes for new projects and we would agree to them and they would get up. On the last one, we were kind of hesitant because it was a bigger project. They were supposed to come back again to fix the wall that they had agreed to do but they hadn't.

We were pleased with their work. They did what we needed to have done. They did a good job and they were fine.

On the first day on had 2 people show up, I was a little supprised but learned the rest of the crew was was finishing another job and would be there the next day They stripped the shingles from 1/2 the roof . The 2nd day they had the full crew, stripped the rest of the roof and replaced some rotted boards. Upon removing some rotted boards found a few broken rafter where the carport attaches to the house. They had to get some additional lumber this issue was also fixed. They wrapped the roof and continued the next day. Day 3 the majority of the shingles went up, then the ran into a small snag one package of shingle was the wrong color. The roof was completed on day 4.

I'm very happy with their work. They showed up on time, gave an estimate ($150... the final price came in under that) and when I okay'ed the estimate they went and got materials and performed the work immediately. The work looks good and appears sturdy.

The start of the job was weather delayed a few times. This was reasonable considering the steep slope of the roof. When the job was started, the workers were prompt each day, hard working, and professional. They were careful of the grounds and worked safely on the roof. The work took a day extra than planned but it was not from slowness or lack of work--it was just a large job. We selected Giron even though they were the high bidder. They are extremely professional in their bidding and their workmanship. The roofers are employees NOT casual labor or sub-contractors. That was important to me--I didn't want the possibility of non-professionals on my steep roof, responsible for something that should last 20 years. Each employee is trained and annually re-trained by the local manufacturer. That too was important. It was good using a local manufacturer and it was a product that was successfully developed. That combination, skilled professional workers with a reliable product is what sold us on Giron. We have no regrets!

It is the third time I worked with him. He is very, very excellent and very honest too. He will tell you when it is going to be and that is what it is. We will use them again in the future.

We asked them to replace our main house roof and they came right out as scheduled and gave us the best estimate. They were very interested in making sure our job was done in a sustainable manner which we are interested in, too. We could tell they knew what they were doing because they brought up a few things we hadn't thought of. They were very open to recycling materials, keeping stuff we could use for other purposes (we're a farm) and taking away to recycle other stuff we had no use for. They gave us good alternatives for sustainable materials which we liked, too. We were having new electrics put in on the upper floor ceiling so we had a delay which pushed us into rainy season. Because the entire roof (and ceilings) would be opened, rainy season isn't the time to do such a job so we delayed it to next summer. In the meantime we decided to put a new roof on the garage anyway. They said it would take two days and we thought we could find two consecutive dry days so it was worth doing now. Their crew showed up the day before and delivered materials and got setup. On the first day of work they took off the old roof, fixed some spots that needed attention, then roofed the entire garage. They were DONE in one day. The crew was efficient, fast and well-seasoned at their jobs. They had their jobs down pat and worked really well as a team. It was nice to have them do a smaller job first, too. We feel even more confident about them doing a much larger job next summer. In the meantime we are hiring them to do another job here and looking forward to it.

From the day of our first meeting on October 3 until the finish of the job on October 16 the work went without a hitch. They arrived on the job each day on time as promised and worked long hours, especially on Friday October 12 when the first rains arrived to get the new roof on. These folks are true professionals and very particular about everything they do including job site clean-up.

Giron Roofing was amazing! They showed up on time, completed the work, cleaned everything up, and even fixed several weird roofing issues we had making sure everything was vented and done according to current code. Very professional and helpful. We would highly recommend them, but won't be using them ourselves for 30 years because we know we have a GREAT roof! Thanks!

Giron roofing replaced our roof in August,2012. The project was started and completed as promised. Our roof required asphalt shingles, wood shakes and a membrane. Giron Roofing had specialists in all 3 roof types on the project. We are very satisfied with workmanship. In addition, the cleanup was completed promptly and to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend Giron Roofing.

Overall this was an excellent experience because of the professionalism of Giron, and their commitment to meeting our needs. Our house has a flat/low slope roof so we were concerned about getting a quality roofing product from an experienced company and Giron fit the bill. They installed a roof system from a company called IB, that has a lifetime warranty on the materials and they cover their workmanship with a lifetime warranty as well. We did have a little sticker shock when we first got the estimates, but we got multiple bids and they were very competitive. One of the reasons we decided to go with them is that they were one of the only companies that suggested we do a tear off of the old roofing material before installing the new roof. Though this added to the cost we were concerned about the foundation of the roof because it appeared to have been neglected for a long time. While other companies suggested installing the new roof over the old ( I guess this is fairly common to do in flat roofing) Giron identified some soft spots in the roof during the estimate process and recommended a tear off expecting that they would have to replace some of the plywood and a few barge boards before installing the new roof. What they found was an entirely different story, and the way they handled it is a big reason I am writing this review. Removing the old roofing material uncovered a horror story of rotted wood an botched repairs. There were literally holes in the plywood and rafters that had significant rot. Almost every barge board had significant issues. IT WAS A MESS! But Giron took action! They switched gears on the fly and got their carpentry crew out to basically rebuild sections of the roof. They replaced every corner of the roof where it had rotted away and put in the time to do it right. The original estimate was that the entire project would be done in three days, but due to these developments they spent about two days just repairing! That sort of gives you an idea of the scope of the issues. Not only did they take the time to do it right, but they were more than fair on the cost of the additional work. They really did us a favor and we are so glad that we used them. If it were not for the tear off of the old material we would have been putting new material on a un-sound roof.

Jesse was on time did a very detailed job and was thorough in every aspect of the work and clean up. Only wish the guys weren't so busy (good for them) because scheduling was tough.

Overall project went well. Hired Teo originally to fix some leaks that kept coming back.He was very responsive everytime and earned his major job from his efforts with the small ones.

I needed my roof replaced and contacted Giron Roofing for an estimate. Their estimated qoute was the lowest for the services I needed. They were very prompt and professional installing my roof and it looks great. They also removed a TV dish and a large antenna that were not in use at no extra charge. There was no time wasted in installing my roof and their cleanup was immaculate. I would watch them work and was impressed with their dedication and team work that is hard to find. I would recommed this company without any reservations. My thanks again to the Giron Roofing Company for a job well done.

Teo came back the next day with spray paint to make my existing roof fan and my new metal flashing match. Overall I give these guys a very high referral. I even had them do one of their roof maintenance tune ups on my rental house.
