We chose FineLine Remodeling to update our 1965 galley kitchen and we are so thankful that we made that choice! It was originally a very closed, cramped and dark space and what we got was open bright and roomy!! Not a square inch went untouched. We had to jack up the home and sink a footing in the basement to get the sag out of the room. They are so professional, kind, flexible and easy to work with. We are constantly amazed at how beautiful our kitchen looks now!!! THANK YOU PHIL, JEREMY, JEFF & CREW!! I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

The team was, to a person, professional, efficient, and thorough. They left the worksite as clean as possible every day, and were very respectful about physical distancing and masks. We enjoyed having their help!

Phil has his sons working for him as well as subs for plumbing and electrical. They all were very professional and friendly and I felt very comfortable having them in my home, except for Jack the electrician. He seemed slimy and arrogant.
The work is very tight and exact, especially the tile and custom cabinetry which was done by local guy in Estacada. Wonderful people who do exceptional work.
Make sure to ask lots of questions on how you can help them stay on schedule, if that is important.

We solicited a LOT of bids for our kitchen remodel. We REALLY REALLY wanted to keep the total cost under $30k (average kitchen remodels are now $50-60k according to every contractor we spoke with). Working with IKEA and Kitchen Helpers / FineLine allowed us to meet our budget - and that was with all cabinets and new appliances as well.
Phil came out for the estimate and he was clear about his pricing and what was included. He made several helpful suggestions. Once we made the down payment and got on the calendar - he kept to schedule. His team was courteous, knowledgable, and CLEAN! Doing a remodel is just a mess - especially when dry wall is involved. But his team clearly did as much as they could to contain the dust and debris and cleaned up at the end of each day.
A remodel also requires some on the spot decisions that you just can't completely anticipate. I was on site for most of this but often needed to try to bring my partner up-to-speed on the phone so that we could reach consensus on this. We ended up making some minor changes to the original design and because we understood what was minor and what was major - they worked with us on all of this and it all resulted in a much better design.
These guys (yes, all guys - sigh) were all hard workers and they do kitchens all of the time and their understanding of how to sequence the work proved that. They subcontract with a plumber and electrical company - and I would use them again as well. Every person we had contact with was top notch.
