 + -1 moreThe clerk was very helpful in providing samples of frames and mats that would look nice with the piece being framed. When the piece was completed, I was not entirely pleased with how the embroidered edges were attached; there were several sections that did not lay right or as I envisioned at the beginning of my project. I returned and the clerk said he would add a few more stitches to improve the lay of the edges. When I came back to pick up my personalized artwork, the finished product looked great. I'm always in shock at how much framing costs. I had a 25% off coupon and may not have had the piece framed without the coupon. It is hard to justify paying close to $200 for art. I am pleased that I decided to go ahead with the project, as I am enjoying the addition to my wall.
Description of Work: I had a family momento that I wanted framed in a shadow box. The piece was a light purple satin heart with a crocheted cover. The clerk stitched the heart to the center of the mat. The finished piece was an 11 1/4 " x 11 1/4 " Allegra Antique Gold frame with a Gold Rush Suede mat on all interior surfaces and Conservation glass. Even though the Museum glass looks better, I could not justify spending an additional $50 for the upgrade and all my other framed art is with the Conservation Glass. I did appreciate the clerk showing me the options. If I had unlimited funds, I would have chosen the Museum glass.
