Description of Work: They take down trees and take care of the trees and the yard. They are very responsive and skilled. The y don’t climb the trees with spikes, they use ropes, which is more helpful for the tree.

Description of Work: We have two pin oaks treated for aphids twice each year. This treatment has saved the trees. Bartlett sends reminders about when to have the treatments and this is much appreciated. We have been in our house 20+ years and Bartlett/Collier has provided good care for our trees the entire time.

Description of Work: An estimator came out, listened to what I wanted done regarding trimming/removal of trees and bushes. He wrote out a detailed estimate. Explained why some work should wait and some could be done sooner. He knew about regulations for tree removal. The work was scheduled, completed on the day scheduled. The crew showed up on time, did the work, cleaned up and sent a bill. Everything went just as it should have.

+ -1 moreTERRILL COLLIER CAME OUT FIRST TO LOOK AT MY TREES (SOME OF WHICH WERE DISEASED) AND TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO ME. COLLIER ARBOR HAD COME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY FRIENDS IN LAKE OSWEGO AND WEST LINN. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. THE PRICE WAS A BIT HIGHER THAN I ANTICIPATED BUT ONCE I SAW THE SCOPE OF THE WORK, I AGREED THAT IT WAS REASONABLE. COLLIER HAS PROFESSIONAL WORK CREW WHO ARRIVED ON TIME, DID A THOROUGH JOB, AND CLEANED UP YARD COMPLETELY AFTER THEY WERE DONE. IT TOOK TWO FULL DAYS TO FINISH WORK BUT THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.
Description of Work: SURVEYED TREES TO DETERMINE WORK NEEDED. PRUNED 5 MID-SIZED FRUIT TREES (APRICOT, APPLE, CHERRY, PLUM, AND ASIAN PEAR) PLUS TWO VERY LARGE ELMS AND ONE DISEASED MAPLE. RECOMMENDED A SCHEDULE TO SPRAY FRUIT TREES TO PREVENT DISEASES FROM RE-OCCURRING.

ALSO CAME OUT EARLIER IN THE SEASON TO PROVIDE ME WITH FREE CONSULTATION ON A NUMBER OF YARD QUESTIONS, AND CONCERNS I HAD. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, BUT I HAVEN'T COMPARED, SO MAY BE THE SAME PRICE AS OTHER TREE SERVICES. HOWEVER, THEY DO GIVE TOP-QUALITY SERVICE, SO EVEN IF THEY COST A BIT MORE, I THINK IT'S WORTH IT. MY PARENTS HAVE USED COLLIERS FOR DECADES, AND ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THEM, WHICH IS WHY I BECAME THEIR CUSTOMER WHEN I BOUGHT A HOUSE.

WHEN THEY DID THE ESTIMATE, THEY BROKE IT DOWN IN SECTIONS, SO WE COULD OPT TO HAVE THEM NOT HAUL THE FIREWOOD, A SAVINGS FOR US. THEY CHEERFULLY COMPLIED WITH MY REQUEST TO CUT TRUNK "RINGS" TO USE IN MY LANDSCAPING. NO EXTRA CHARGE.

THE APPLICATION OF SYTEMIC INSECTICIDE PROTECTS IT FROM APHIDS SCALE AND BRONZE BIRCH BORERS. THIS TREATMENT WORKS FOR THE WHOLE SPRING AND SUMMER SEASONS AND KEEPS APHIDS AWAY AND OTHERWISE STICKY DRIPPING FROM APHIDS WOULD RUIN OUR DECK.
