We found a large hole in our garage window caused by a large stone thrown through the screen and window. We checked Angies List first, then called A Better Glass Shop. They were very helpful over the phone and told us that if we could bring in the window, it would save us about $180 in service/travel fees. We did that and were told that the window would be ready in about a week since they had to wait for a glass order to be delivered to their shop. The window was actually ready sooner than that, and we picked it up, paying $120.00. The shop provides a 10-yr warranty which covers the seal on the double pane, also.

First off- Joe was great. I called multiple places and all of them quoted a higher price and said they needed to come to my house to give a good estimate. They alI wanted to quote an "installed" price (I didn't know how to take the window out).I called Joe at the shop and he told me everything I need to do to take the window out, measure it and gave me estimate over the phone saying he could save me over $100 if I brought the window in.What I like about all this is that rather than listening to what I asked, A Better Glass Shop Inc. listened and asked questions to determine what the need was vs assuming I knew what I was talking about. I dropped the window off, picked it up two days later and we happy with the results!! Won't bother calling around next time.

This was the cheapest estimate I received and the work was done on time. The installer was polite, efficient and very nice. The only negative was it took a couple of days longer to get the estimate than I was told (Thurs instead of Tuesday). Since this work needed to be done in order to close on a house sale, time was rather critical.

Service was outstanding. I was stranded without a ride home. Although not part of the service, they drove me home and picked me up again when the job was done. Everything was done just as promised, and they could not have been nicer.

I called and made an appointment for an estimate. The gentleman arrived on time, took measurements of both windows, and gave me an estimate for the repair. I accepted the estimate and scheduled the work to be done the following week. The work was done in about 2 hours (by the same person who did the measurements) and looks fine.

No problems

The rep./worker was on site, as promised, at the appointed time. Measured, and submitted his estimate. Two days later, the replacement window was installed, as per agreed upon time and price. Very satisfying results.

I was extremely impressed by the employee's knowledge, promptness to the call and the way in which the handled my concern for the entire project. Gary Dewhurst is extremely qualified professional. He was prompt, well motivated and very attentive to every detail. He wanted to be so correct. He even came back twice to run his numbers for the door opening. The company that actually provided the cutting of the door had made a mistake. Gary kept me informed on what exactly was going on with the redo on the door. They exercised trust in me through out the project. They cleaned up well after them selves when the installation was complete. There were careful to protect the new sinks, toilet sink, etc. The job is superb, no leaks. The new glass shower door is crowning touch to master bath upgrade. They were well trained and did wonderful job. If I need glass work in the future, A better Glass Shop will be the first I call.

I received a rough estimated based on my measurements. That sounded good. Next step was having someone come out and measure. That was the only hitch in the process.. I was told Tuesday, no show, then Wed, no show.. finally was promised Thursday and it then happened. One week later, as promised, they came out and installed the new glass. They were able to come early and called in advance to see if that would work. Installation went very smooth and they were very professional and nice. No problems! A little improvement in order taking and it would have been straight A's

They were very good and I am planning on using them again.

I got a quick response. The windows were ordered over the phone after they took measurements. Installation occurred as they said it would, and installer was helpful and cleaned up after he finished. He even stayed late to finish the installation.

Very happy with the service, but question their pricing.

Damian was quite punctual and polite for quoting process. Good price quoted (used 10% off coupon from Clackamas Transwestern Phone Book.) Eric and Kyle were very knowledgeable for installation, but not very apologetic when ripping up multiple areas of paper, texturing and paint from drywall in three different rooms. Damage repaired by homeowners. Not all cracks sealed with silicon, and one window had drip/weep hole sealed with silicon. Kyle did good work with most framing, except one window that is not plumb and square, that subsequent contractors comment on.

This company took my order and completed the job the same day. The work was timely and well done, and I thought it was reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend them, or to have them do other jobs for me.

Damian prepared the quote the day after I called in. Kyle replaced the window a day later. My experience with them was excellent. They were dependable, professional, friendly and timely. I did not do any shopping on price (so I marked N/A) because responsiveness and professionalism are more important to me than best price.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH MEASURING IT AND INSTALLING IT AS WELL. THEY GAVE TIPS AND RECOMMENDED WINDOW WASHERS. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN WHENEVER IS NEEDED.

THEY DID QUALITY WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER, AT A FAIR PRICE. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH PUNCTUALITY. THEY CAME ON TIME AND CLEANED UP THE SITE BEFORE LEAVING.
