These guys are TOP NOTCH. They showed up on time, were extremely professional and friendly. I had my unit installed a few years back with them and they came over to service it and do maintenance. I was beyond thrilled with everything. Price was great too and they give military discounts too. So rare now a days. Will definitely use them again!!

Matt, the service man was fabulous. He came to the house, said I needed a new heater motor, ordered it, and installed it within a few days. No muss, no fuss. Fabulous customer service, fabulous followup. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Tech found and replaced burned out capacitor. Work was professional and quick, well worth the service call charge. I was charged $233.00 for the capacitor and later found out the actual cost at Home Depot was under $20.00. I am a senior citizen but was not offered the senior discount advertised. I am not happy and will not refer this company to anyone.

I purchase two heat pumps from this company, and when the compressor on one failed, they wanted to charge me $3000 to fix it, and it was under warranty! they’ll tell you they are the best, but they are just the best at separating you from your money.

This is a great company. Russ is the owner and it is obvious he is concerned personally with the quality of the services he provides.

I liked everything about their service. They were wonderful. Their price, how they dealt with their customers, how soon they got out here. Everything was wonderful. I would use them again. The price was based per square foot. I don't recall what it was but I did some research. I received 3 bids so I know it was awesome. I think my entire bill was $250.

Josh arrived promptly and took a look. The thermostat was wired correctly, the wires up in the heating unit were NOT. Not something we could have known or done. He hooked up the appropriate wires and got it working within minutes. He waited, he listened, he double checked and he talked to me about these "Smart" thermostats. He told me what NOT to do and honestly, we could have easily done the wrong thing...we are NOT trained professionals. It could have been upward of $6000 to replace it all. It was $90 with some sage advice. I love the new thermostat, but the truth is, it was NOT going to work if Josh hadn't came out and wired it PROPERLY. Don't screw up your heating and air conditioning to save a buck (do you know if you are supposed to hook up the fan to the heating unit or the thermostat? Yeah, me neither and if I had done it wrong, it could have messed up a LOT). If you don't know exactly what you are doing (more than YouTube videos), hire Long's. Professional, reasonably priced, timely and they know their way around heaters and air conditioners. Thanks Josh - you rocked it today! (and I'm WARM!) And WHEN my heater does die and needs to be replaced - I'll call my heating guys at Long's.

Russ Long and his team are awesome. Russ returns calls promptly, shows up when he says he will and is very responsive. The bid for a complete install was very reasonable, his team of workers were both professional and friendly, and the work done was excellent. Would highly recommend.

The team, from first quote to final clean up, was professional. They were responsive and timely and a bit more than two months after installation, we haven't had any trouble at all. The tenants comment that the new system is quieter than the old one.

The technician determined a zone damper was wired incorrectly to one of the thermostats. There was no need for a new damper. I was very pleased. The only item charged was for the maintenance check.

They provide excellent service. They are efficient, polite, respectful and know what they are doing. We had hired them before and we were very impressed. We feel they are a very honest company and will always be our HVAC company for future needs.

I was pleased with the price. They sent one guy each time. The work took 45 minutes maybe.

They came out in a emergency situation, it was a Friday on a holiday weekend. I had a tenant with a infant child and the AC went out. They came after hours and didn't change me extra for service call. They system was low on freon so they charged that. They were very response and helpful. 

The second time a system was not functioning. He came and did a complete check and cleaned it. Very helpful, professional and affordable.

On a scale of one to ten, I would give the repairs done by Long's Heating a rating of ten...or, possibly an eleven! During the diagnosis, it was determined that a major part needed to be ordered. Admittedly, the replacement part needed was expensive. However, the repairman lessened the blow by giving me a ten percent Angie's List discount. When that part was installed, it became apparent that another part was needed that worked in tandem. Because this wasn't found initially, and included in the estimate, it was installed without charge. The parts had a factory one-year warranty, but Long's Heating's policy is to extend the warranty to five years. While he was at my home, the repairman climbed a ladder to replace the furnace filters that I am unable to reach in my high ceilings--again, gratis. This is the second time that I have dealt with this company, and both times I have been suitably impressed with their integrity. After this experience, they are the only ones with whom I would deal to fix my furnace.

Matt came out and checked the furnace, found a clog in the system, cleaned and serviced. Very professional, courteous and on time. Didn't try to up sell me, and I felt he was honest.

Matt did an excellent job!! He was thorough and patient in educating me about the system. He made sure I had a good understanding of how things worked and what we needed and why. We feel he really went the extra mile to take care of us and our system. We did need some repairs which some he was able to do right away and save us an additional service call. The rest will have to be done in the future. What I appreciated most he didn't try to push any repairs on us. He told us what should be done now and what to keep an eye. We will definitely use Long's again.
