On Sept. 24, 2012, Britt Parsons said that he would come by the following day to take measurements and give us a bid on both gutter replacement and clean/repair of gutters. A week went by with no bid from Britt, so I called him. He said he had not had a chance to come by. We got our bid on October 3, 2012. I called the next day and said we would like to have him do the gutter cleaning/repair. He stated that the work would be completed the following week. The following week came and went, and Britt never came by to do the work, as he stated he would. He also did not call us to reschedule. On Oct. 15, 2012 I called and Britt stated he would be coming by the following day to complete the work. By this time, the weather had turned and it was pouring rain the morning he showed up. Britt assured me that he had "tested" the product used for repairs and that it adhered whether used on a wet or dry surface. The following morning the rain had stopped, so I stepped outside and looked up at my second-story gutters. The outside of the gutters, my windows, and siding were all splattered with the dirt and mud that had been cleaned from the gutters. I called Britt and told him what I had seen. He shouted at me, "All of your gutters aren't dirty!" Startled, I responded, "Well, I didn't walk all around the house, I only stepped outside and looked up at the second story gutters, and there's mud spattered all over them, and all over the windows and side of the house." Britt went on to claim that the water pressure on my outside hoses wasn't strong enough for him to clean them off. I told them that as far as I was concerned, the cleaning of my gutters included the outside, and I wasn't going to pay him until the work was completed. He interrupted me, shouting, "WELL I'M NOT F****** CHARGING YOU!!" Startled, I replied, "You're cussing at a customer?!?" Again, he repeated, "I'M NOT F****** CHARGING YOU!" I am absolutely amazed that this man has been able to stay in business!
