Great.  Jason has done work for us previously, and we had always dreamed of adding this second story.  Jason patiently walked us through the process, hired a structural engineer, and thought of nearly every possible problem that we could address.  The end result is stunning.  Although we had the roof ripped off half the house, the new area seamlessly fits into the house and our neighbors tell us they can't remember what it looked like before the remodel.  We had new electrical, HVAC, carpet, roofing, and obviously everything in between.  Jason isn't just a contractor, he's got great design sense, including suggesting a ceiling treatment that truly makes the room below the addition stunning.   I have gorgeous new space, that takes advantage of a view I didn't realize we would have.  Jason is professional and truly treats the job like he was doing it for his own family -things are simply done right.  His crew is friendly and extremely hard working, as is Jason himself.  If you want to hire the guy who's on the job site every day, who is there working and not simply sending out some other crew to complete his bids, hire Jason.  We would recommend him without hesitation.

The work cost me about $15000. Everything worked out fine. I have used him before and I have always been extremely happy with his work. I have never had any problems. He is one of the few people, who has done work for me that I didn?t have to constantly monitor. I liked his attention to detail and work ethic. I never could find anything wrong about him. However, he is a little expensive. I will use him again in the future.

Jason has done several smaller projects for us now: last summer, we had a shower drain leak that caused water damage and mold - he told us he would fix it so it "looked like he was never there," and he did. To do so, he had to cut a 4x4 hole in the interior ceiling, cut out major floor joists from both the interior and exterior, and safely installed new "sistered" joists for us - it is better than it was when new. He even assisted us in dealing with the insurance company. More recently, he tore a small deck (10x8) off the front of the house, creating a new sunroom in its place - the space is nothing short of fantastic. All new floor joists were put in, new studs, 5 new windows, a new roofline, and resealing of the deck above the new space. New carpet, sheetrock, etc. throughout. The old french door that lead to the deck was removed, a new header put in, and the two spaces are now one, wonderful integral whole. The job site is always kept cleaner than we would have expected, he is considerate about making sure we know what the schedule is, and is always extremely professional. When there were some difficulties (the house was not built quite square, the upper deck sagged), Jason always takes the high road and does the job right. We have never had such faith in a contractor - if Jason says it will be done, you will love his work. He builds things solidly, by the code, in keeping with your wishes, and to the highest of standards.
