It went great. Jim told me the date he expected the lamp to arrive in his shop and the approximate cost broken down by cost of the lamp itself and the installation. He was as good as his word. The lamp arrived on the day he expected and was installed that day. I will use him again.
Description of Work: The lamp in my HD television went out with a small pop and no TV. The "lamp" light was flashing so that gave me a good hint at what was wrong. I called Gene's Home Electronics in Canby, and using the owner's manual, was able to give the model number and other pertinent information on the lamp that was needed. Jim ordered the lamp and brought it out in just a few days. He installed the lamp, vacuumed out the insides of the TV, cleaned up and was gone in less than a half hour.

Description of Work: Rebuilt color convergence boards. Was able to diagnose over the phone and gave me a very close estimate. I was very pleased with the repairs and they were prompt with appointments. Turn around time was shorter than I thought. Very courteous.

OUR EXPERIENCE WAS WONDERFUL. WE WEREN'T EVEN CHARGED FOR LABOR SINCE OUR TV WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THEY WERE POLITE OVER THE PHONE AND ORDERED THE PART AND INSTALLED IT AS SOON AS IT WAS AVAILABLE.
Description of Work: A SERVICEMAN FROM GENE'S ELECTRONIC SALES CAME AND REPLACED A BULB IN OUR 42 INCH TELEVISION.

GENE'S HOME ELECTRONICS WAS COURTEOUS AND PUNCTUAL WHEN THE APPOINTMENT WAS SET. THEY WERE BOOKED OUT A-WAYS, BUT THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDED TO US WAS WORTH THE WAIT.
