This 11-year0old cat has had chronic ear problems and a limited tolerance for veternarians. There are several vets at this facility, and we were fortunate to be seen by Dr. Fern Fitzgerald, who brought both a calm demeanor and a fresh approach to the cat's difficulties. She managed to examine the cat without arousing fear, and the treatment performed has resulted substantial improvement in in the cat's overall health. He has ceased scratching his ears and eats much better than he did before.

I have been very happy with the service I have received and the care my dog has received. The laser treatments have made a huge difference for her. I always feel welcome at the clinic, and someone is always able to answer my questions. They are very understanding when an emergency arises. They make getting veterinary care for my dog convenient.
I would and have recommended Town and Country Animal Hospital.

My wolf, Lakota, suddenly had a growth on 1 of her rear ankles. In a panic and just and quot;knowingand quot; after 7 years of a Patient-Doctor relationship, that I'd get right in. I went to my vet 4Paws in Crescent City, CA. BUT...WAS NOT SEEN! Why? Because they refused to see her until I had the minimum $35.00 Office Visit Fee. I saved it up (I live FAR below the USA'a poverty level on Disability) and when I returned, he wouldn't even see her...saying it was too late AND, unbelievably, why I waited SO long!
Desperate to try and help Lakota out of pain, I went to Town + Country in Brookings...with the $35.00 I didn't give and quot;myand quot; vet. I went to the examining room, and told the Doctor all that had already transpired. We got Lakota onto the table, he took 1 look and...when he looked back at me I KNEW it was BAD!!!
He told me, had I come when I 1st noticed it, he'd have amputated just above the ankle, thereby saving her life! But, he said, trying to get inhto and quot;myand quot; vet took so long, there was nothing that could be done. AND, he sat down next to me and cried as hard as I did! He DID NOT leave me alone for 1 second. AND, know what that wonderful man did? He refused to take my money!
OMG!! I was mentally and emotionally destroyed! I wish I'd have heard of this wonder Clinic before.
I'll go no where else, as long as I live here.
These guys are GREAT vets, compassionate, and willing to work with the owners to save the animals. TRULY what a Vet should be!
