RAPIDVAC

I made the appointment. They called to let me know that their truck broke down and they couldn't make. We rescheduled for the next week. When the two guys arrived I asked if they had removed insulation from Knob & Tube wired homes. Nope. I called the office and the person (an owner) told me that the lead guy had worked for them for 8 years and of course had experience in this area, but because English was his second language did not understand what I was talking about. I indicated that I doubted someone who had done insulation removal for 8 years would not have come to recognize that terminology. I admittedly showed my frustration on the phone with her. I have had to cancel and reschedule my electrician twice now because of this company and have had to rearrange from own work schedule twice. I l also found myself in a position of not really knowing if this guy knew what he was doing and not really being able to communicate with him about what needed to be done. Her response was that they clearly could not please me and that she would pull the crew and I could just find someone else to do the work. Wow!!!!

They had to call and cancel because their truck got in an accident, which was okay we just rescheduled. Then I had told them that my driveway was a tight space but they showed up with a truck that was too large and had to reschedule and come back another day again. Then when they showed up they set up their vacuum system and sucked away all the old mouse chewed insulation. When they took apart their vacuum tubes they left a bit of a mess on the ground, a few dead mice and insulation. But they replaced the vapor barrier but I have not checked to see if it was done correctly.

VERY PROFESSIONAL. I SHOWED THEM WHAT WAS REQUIRED, AND THEY GOT TO WORK. BEFORE DISASSEMBLING THE EQUIPMENT I INSPECTED THE JOB TO APPROVE. THE MINIMUM CHARGE SEEMED HIGH, BUT THEY ARRIVED WITH A VERY LARGE TRUCK AND A VACUUM THAT RAN OFF OF A 5 FT. DIAMETER FAN. THE 2 WORKERS WERE VERY SAFETY MINDED, BOTH FOR MY HOUSE AND FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL HEALTH. THEY FINISHED WITH A COMPLETE SWEEPING OF THE AREA WHERE A VERY MINOR AMOUNTS OF INSULATION HAD DROPPED.
