His Builders LLC

We have two rooms where the carpet had been ruined by a cat that used to live in the house and spray. Once we tore up the carpet we could see that the particle board underneath had also been ruined and we were struck by the pungent smell of cat pee! The His builders team spent all day tearing up the old particle board and laying down new particle board. They did a great job and our house no longer smells like cat pee. I didn't rate this company on price because I was unable to obtain other bids before hiring His Builders.

I didn't like the way they break things down so we didn't use them. The guy that came out has very high end and he does not break anything down in terms of like cost and labor. He just gave me kind of one bulk price which made me kind of dislike him because if it was him in my position you would want to know how much you were paying for the supplies versus the labor work and he wouldn't do that.

It was a very good experience for the value. They were very courteous and they did what they said they would do. It was good workmanship. The price was very good. We are planning to use them again.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with His Contractors. When I called them, I explained that my husband and I were brand new real estate investors and were looking to "interview" contractors to add to our team. I explained that I would like to invite him to join me on a walkthrough of a house and have him talk through what he recommended we do to make it a competitive sale. I know this is not the norm, but I was honest about the fact that I was looking for his recommendations upon walkthrough rather than my providing him with a list of what needed to be done. He agreed to the proposal and within a few days met me on site.The story was completely different on site. He stated that he doesn't normally work with investors and when he does he expects them to have their list ready to go. He doesn't have time to handhold and walk through a property. Quite frankly, he shared with me, he didn't need my business -- he has plenty! And then he proceeded to tantrum through the the house rattling improvements off faster than I could jot them down, or even process them.While I was trying to pull myself together after receiving such a dressing down from someone who knew the terms of the meet and agreed to it, he decided he needed to take a personal phone call.I was doubly disappointed with the attitude I experienced because part of my motivation for vetting this company was that they are Christian-owned. Even Christians have bad days, and I hope that that's what this was. As I said, I understand my request was not the norm. However, he knew the details walking in. And well, it's good that he doesn't need my business, because he won't get it. Even now that we know what we're doing and have turned multiple properties since then.

Three years ago I had an Architect draw up some plans for a mixed use building that I wanted to erect. Orignally, I went with a non-Angie's list contractor and the project went absolutely nowhere. I got frustraited gave up for a while. Six months later, I went on Angie's list and found Stephen from "His Contractor's." He reviewed the plans and convinced me that the project was viable. It was obvious that I pick the right contractor the second time around. While there were set-backs (mostly City related), Stephen was able to work with my architect and the City to resolve issues and move ahead with the project. In the end, I got a wonderful building completed ...at the price we originally agreed on. I would highly recommend Stephen and his crew for any new or remodel building project.

His Contractors worked fast and efficiently. They did an amazing amount of work considering the low budget I allowed them. They were professional and friendly. My friends are amazed at the turn around the house has experienced. It went from a dump, ready to be burned down to a comfortable and well functioning home.

We are absolutely thrilled with the result. The quality of their work is exceptional, the price was very fair and the people involved were a joy to work with. We will really miss having them around!

Very well. They showed up on time, they are very fairly priced and respond to customers' questions and needs. They are thorough but a little bit sloppy.
