Gassman Appliance Repair

Had a 23 year old Kenmore. I called several appliance repair places that said "they couldn't get parts" I bought a new one at best Buy but they said "it couldn't be installed unless I had an electrician change the wall outlet to fit the cord on the new dryer' I told them to take it back and bring back the Kenmore! I sure am glad I did! Chris trouble shot and found that it was a simple fix just a fuse. He totally rebuilt the Kenmore and said that it was a much better dryer than Best Buy wanted to sell me. He came back with all parts and only charged for one service call. DON'T buy a new appliance unless you NEED one. Thank you Chris and Gassman appliance! J. Shea

Wayne and his helper decided it had to be the valve under the house that was not allowing water to come into the ice maker. So down into the crawl space we went and they replaced the valve on the pipe under the house. Now my ice maker is working perfectly!! It went great!

Great - it didn't work, now it does.

Mr. Gassman and his partner arrived within an hour, quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the relay/overload. At the same time I spoke to him about the washing machine agitator stalling during wash cycles. He repaired that by replacing the "dogs". Punctual, courteous, professional. A well satisfied customer!!!

I was pleased with the results. The microwave brand isn't one typically Gassman Appliance Repair services, but the part was ordered, installed and works well. Stove top lighter was also repaired satisfactorily.

Within 3 hours of calling Wayne he was here with another gentleman. Diagnosed the problem, has the right part on his truck and the machine running again.
He was very pleasant to work with, extremely well organized and professional. 
I will definitely keep his number and call him for any problems I have in the future.

I called and spoke with Wayne, the owner, who tried to diagnose the problem prior to coming out. Wayne carries almost every part with him and had the part I needed when he arrived that same day. No second trip back and he was done in 10 minutes. He was personable, professional, and knew what he was doing. I would definitely call him again.

He was superb. The first guy that I called was looking for the part for six months. It was something very difficult to get and he wasn't sure what it would cost and said it's going to be very expensive. However, Gassman had the part on his truck. He came by and fixed the oven. He was a miracle worker.

On Tues. morning I called to see when they could come. They were busy that day.  I said I was available either Wed. a.m. or all day Thurs. They called Wed. a.m. and said they would be out that p.m.. Again I said I was busy in the p.m., but would be available all day Thurs. On Thurs. by 1 p.m. I hadn't heard so I called. They were planning to come Fri.!, but changed his schedule and came within 90 minutes,  Murray figured out within 2 minutes what the problem was, and promptly fixed it. He was very pleasant and helped me clean out the pan under the frig. I was given a $10 credit, since I belong to Angie's list. I would use them again,

He was willing to come to our house on a holiday. Not only is our refrigerator working, it is working more efficiently.  He was professional and very pleasant.

We were very satisfied with his work.  He did a good job for a fair price.

Do call Gassman for appliance service.

My washer has been a problem ever since I bought it in 2006. It is a frigidaire front loader. When it was under warranty it broke down three times!!  It's been running OK now for the past 3 years or so until last week.  No go.  Wayne at Gassman appliances was gracious, knowledgeable, and thorough. He is researching a couple additional possibilities with the machine, but most likely it is dead. I'm not surprised because of all the problems I've had with it. 
Don't buy a Frigidaire washer!
So we may lose the washer, but I'm definitely KEEPING Gassman as a contact for large appliance repair!  They are wonderful!

Contacted Gassman Appliance, received an appointment at a agreed-upon time.  The serviceman, Abraham, called in advance to let us know he was on the way.  He was professional, considerate and informative as he worked on the problem.  Problem was solved in about an hour --- and everything continues to be in working order.  Good to have a reliable repairman for our major appliances.
