He did absolutely no prep on the wall. He textured the wall and it looks like someone with a bad case of the small pox. He didn't use the paint he was supposed to buy. I went over and picked out the paint and gave him the number and he went to a different place and bought it even though the paint company I had gone to recommended him. I told them about it, I said, you know, he didn't even buy the paint from you. The guy was floored. He said, well, it won't be the same color even if he tried to match it. I said, that's right, it wasn't the same color.
It had wallpaper on it and it has always had wallpaper on it, it had never had texture on it so no problem there. But it had a couple places where the wallboard was disturbed by the wallpaper coming off so it needed to be replaced or stuff put on it and sanded down. He didn't even ask us if we wanted it done. He just went in there and he came in one day and said well, I textured today and I went in there and looked at it. I had had another bid and the guy had said he textured twice once with the big stuff once with the little stuff and I showed him what the rest of my house looks like and said, this is what I want it to look like. I don't know what he did but it looks like the eruption of a lava pit or something in there. My husband's so upset. Then he went in and painted and I said, that's not the color I asked for. He said I did it this way because I only have to do one coat because it has the primer right in it.
He was nice and easy to work with as far as that's concerned. I don't think he was real truthful about the color of paint. He's got a good reputation. I guess maybe he thought he could put something over on us and be lazy.

It went great! The office staff, the painters and Frank himself are nice, efficient, friendly people and Frank is a verteran, God bless him. 
I got four bids on this house and shop. Frank was a few hundred more than my lowest bid, but I accepted his bid because he was responsive, communicative and efficient in the estimate process.
I was impressed by his interaction with his help. He seemed to act as if he were their father and treated them with respect.
And they did a great job. They are coming back to paint an area that they left, because there was a birds' nest in the way with eggs or little birds near a second story eave and they didn't want to disturb it. Can you believe it?
I highly recommend this efficient, stellar team.

It went great.  Frank is very personable yet professional.  He and his crew were right on time, did an excellent job, moved all the furniture and put it back where it belonged.  They cleaned up at the end of each day (took 3 days) so I had a decent place to live in each evening.  Their work was excellent.
I highly recommend Frank and his company.  It was worth every penny.

We were very happy with the job.
When we hired Frank in April we told him that the job had to be complete by July 13 because we had a major landscaping project starting on that day. Portland had such a wet spring in 2014, which meant Frank had to do a lot of job rescheduling with other clients to make sure he met our deadline. Not only was job competed on time, it was done with a great degree of care an professionalism.
Frank was always available if we had any questions, was very knowledgeable about the process, and was also able to explain the steps in ways that were easy to understand. He also knows a lot about the paint itself: things like which colors cover with fewer/more coats, and the pros and cons of different finishes (flat vs. satin, etc).
We will definitely hire his company again to maintain our beautiful paint job, and when the time finally comes, to paint the whole house again.
