I have a combo washer/dryer which I love for the convenience of the small size and switching to dry without having to have another appliance and moving the clothes. These are popular in Europe but not here. This brand no longer makes the machines so I was worried about parts but the maker said they had them available. Ed didn't skip a beat when I told him what I had and did research to see if his supplier had parts. He gave me an estimate of arrival and called a couple of times to update. To make a long story short ... discovered the vent was clogged deep in the machine and cleared it out. Told me to run an empty cycle to flush out anything backed up in the system and call if it was still having problems, the next visit was covered under that days charges. WORKING PERFECTLY NOW clothes dry in record time. Thanks.

This repair went more smoothly than almost any other I've had. There was no wasted time and Ed was ready with the parts he thought he would need. He was very adept at his work and got my washer working in no time. He based his estimate on that, and he stuck to it. As it turned out, the problem was exactly as he thought, the lid switch, which was broken. The other thing was that on the phone, Ed was very personable and had excellent communication skills. This is important when it comes to fixing things. If these people don't ask the right questions, they might give an estimate for one thing, but end up fixing another and that could cost more. In person, Ed was very prompt and ready to roll with parts in his truck. No having to waste time waiting for the repair person to go buy a part they had not anticipated. He didn't take long to do the repair, but was thorough and put the washer through a cycle to make sure it was working before he left. He also offered while there to look at any other problem I thought I might have in his area of expertise. I had him look at the dryer and he wanted to know where it vented outside. I thought I knew where this was, but I did not. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with the dryer, but he advised perhaps having someone look at the duct work to see where it vented and then having him look at it if there were any problems. Right now, everything is working just fine. I was very happy that this repair person was honest, gave an accurate estimate and stuck to it, just as he said he would. I was very happy with the quality of the work and the positive attitude of the person. I would definitely call him again.

The water heaters were to be installed in a vacant house. It was necessary for me to meet Ed,the Repairman, and unlock the house for him to enter. His repair shop is relatively close to the house and I live about forty five minutes drive from the house. Ed was very good about calling me about one hour before he planned to arrive at the house. This minimized waiting for both of us. Ed installed the water heaters in a workmanlike manner, cleaned up the debris afterward and overall, did a great job.

Ed was able to tell over the phone what the problem with my dryer was. He was able to get to my house the same day and explained fully what I could do to prevent further costs. He was very honest and helpful. He gave me a good price on the parts he used and also shared some of his tools with me while he was at my house! By the time he left, my dryer was working better than it had in years! I would recommend this company to anyone in East County!
