Ellen Silfven and her staff at Umpqua Bank personally walked us through the entire process from the start of our inquiries in March to the final closing the end of June. I have never had any service where if I had a question no matter how small or large I would receive a personal call back, even if it was after hours. When we experienced the outstanding experience and expertise from Ellen and her staff (Tara G****, Heather) we immediately new we made the right choice. The bank my husband used for the last 30 years couldn't even bother to return multiple phone calls.
Ellen did such a fantastic job and worked so hard, I truly believe that had we chosen any other lender the deal and the house would have fallen through. No one is more caring or works harder than these people at Umpqua. I was so impressed I opened up checking and savings accounts at their bank as well.
