Honesty and integrity are a vital part of their business and they have never tried to upsell any unnecessary repairs. It is rare that a problem isn't fixed right the first time but if it happens they guarantee their work and will get it right without charging extra. The only complaint I would have is that they are so busy it might take a few days to get an appointment, which is a reflection on their customer loalty.

Our 1996 4Runner has had a power steering noise for some time, along with a small leak. I've been topping off the fluid very occasionally, but the noise was getting worse. I fully expected to need a new PS pump, but Jason adjusted the belt and flushed the OE fluid (my request), and the squeal is gone.

He also explained that our rack and pinion steering is leaking slightly, but not the pump. At some point, we'll have to address that leak. But in the meantime, instead of selling us a new PS unit (which I would have paid for without complaint), the guys minimized my expense and fully explained what we should expect in the coming months.

Not many mechanics take this approach. Most will over-sell their customers for the extra income. Jason wasn't even going to charge us for the diagnostics, until I insisted that we flush out the burnt-looking fluid and replace it with fresh. We had a similar experience with a different car about a year ago. Oil leak that appeared to be coming from an engine seal turned out to be a loose connection. Jason found it, tightened it and sent us on our way without charge.

Jason and his brother do a great job for us. We've never had major motor work done there, but their honesty and helpful attitude have been a consistent theme every time we deal with them. If any of our three cars need service, this is where we'd go.
