David Koski installed wood flooring in our home and did a marvelous job. The flooring is beautiful and we have had many compliments. However, he cracked a slate tile in the kitchen and removed it. He was to return and to replace the slate tile and also going to complete filling the cracks between the slate and wood flooring . We had some extra tile so he took a piece with him and was to return within a few weeks due to other jobs he had. That was Dec 2nd. I have not heard from him. I called him twice, once I left a message and the other time I spoke to him and he said he had a family emergency and would call when he returned to work. I have never heard from him again and emailed him a month or so after the phone call and rec'd an email stating he had a family emergency and would call me when he returned to work -- no response. I just want HIM TO PAY to have the tile replaced and the CRACKS SEALED since the missing tile leaves a space in the floor right by the traffic area and dirt collects in the cracks from the spaces between the slate and wood flooring.
David does beautiful work but he doesn't follow through after he does the major work. I have had several opportunities to recommend him but I don't feel I can since he has never completed the job.
He has been paid for the entire job and felt I could trust him to return but wish I hadn't paid him now.
