"I am the owner. I was contacted by the husband and he stated that he was referred to us by the (1) Band of Brothers, an association that I am a member of. Diagnostics of a vehicle can become complicated more than not. After extensive research, we discovered it was a different area than what we were concentrating on. Now we could have charged for that area of diagnostics and the secondary repair but we don't operate that way. We have no control over parts delivery time. Our business hours are 8-6 Mon-Fri. However I am here till usually 8 or 9 pm daily. Therefore as several other customers have done, they could have certainly picked up the vehicle well after 6 pm. As far as the other repairs we noted, we take pride in showing any customer male or female the exact issue(s). I am a Marine Corps Vet and we are #1 in customers service. We are not in the business of selling unnecessary repairs or parts replacement unlike other repair facilities. We have reviewed their estimates and verified certain repairs were not required. It's funny that people have no reserve about writing a complaint somewhere but don't have the courage to make direct contact with the provider of service(s). We made it clear that if the issue that we repaired was not satisfactory, we will continue the repair at our expense to dismiss the original issue. I’ve also noticed that there was no mention of the military discount they received. Our business is 1 of 3 repair facilities in Bend Oregon asked to be a member of C.A.R. Certified Auto Repair. An organization that you cannot join, cannot just become a member of or pay outlandish fees to be part of. You are hand selected to become a member.
