Stereo Planet

The team from Stereo Planet were exceptionally responsive and professional in providing us with an outstanding home sound system. Stephen helped us select the appropriate components, including amplifier, speakers, Blu-Ray, Sonos and required switches and other technical items. The costs of the components were not a bargain, compared to similar items available on the internet, but we felt that the costs were fair considering the support provided by Stereo Planet.
The installation was extensive, including the AV system and nine different stereo speaker zones, both inside and outside the house. The installation team, led by Brandon, was very professional, arriving on time, patiently explaining to us what they were doing and how to operate the system, making sure we were happy with the installation, and leaving the house tidy at the end of each day.
We had one technical problem, related to a faulty speaker control switch, which damaged a pre-amplifier that we supplied for the system. The Stereo Planet team (including management) was on top of the problem as soon as we called them. The problem was solved, and the pre-amplifier replaced, quickly and at no cost additional to us. Customer service by Stereo Planet was outstanding.
We would recommend Stereo Planet to anyone desiring a top-notch audio system installation supported by stellar customer service.

I'm so glad I called Stereo Planet. I didn't have a chance to mark and photograph all my connections before the movers tore everything apart and packed things up. What makes this set up somewhat difficult is that it involves an older receiver, HDTV, CD player, bluray player, and DVR all of which are from different companies. They had also mixed in cables from another system that I'd used in another room.

After fighting with all these components and cords for two days I gave up and called the professionals. The technician came right out and had things up and running in an hour. That's the best $89 I've spent in a long time. It gave me my sanity back and time to work on getting other things unpacked.

Contractor met with us and reviewed our needs as well as the physical plant. We asked questions and considered the options. Contractor proposed a solution in writing. We accepted and installation date was scheduled. Contracting staff arrived punctually. They were professional, positive, and polite....and very competent. An in-house ethernet network connection was created with multiple audio zones fed by internet streams. Receiver, headphone systems, Sonos bridges, and flat panel were installed together with universal remote control system. This was a very positive experience. Very high quality installation. Flat panel images well calibrated, audio well-tuned to large room with high ceilings, terrific streaming access to internet audio sources. Smartphone control over audio. Very good value as well. Since the tuner/apm that controls evrything does not have a second modern(HDMI) input receptacle the technician had to devise a workaround routing the Apple signal through the CD/DVD player. The multistep workaround works for using the Apple TV. However, I have been unable to get sound when trying to play DVDs.
The service date I enters is not valid as I have no idea of the service date. It was sometime during 2012

We have had a wonderful experience with this company. Kyle Tegen is great he installed everything and set up our 4 new televisions, bluray players, Netflix account and even used a swivel mount for the game room so the TV will pull out from the wall and rotate. He made sure that we were comfortable using the new home theater before he left. I like the fact that he is actually an electrician so he knows how to fix any issue that may come up properly. Any time we have any questions or need service they are prompt in sending someone right out to fix the problem Kyle has actually been out here three times, and has given us superior customer service. We highly recommend using this company!
