Actually, the technician figured out that the loud noise wasn't the fan but a metal flange that was part of the exhaust system. He did a great job of persevering and investigating why the noise was happening and found that the noise was actually the flange and not the motor. He wound up just removing the flange and in the process he saved us about $800-since we didn't have to replace the whole motor assembly. It was great to see a technician do such a good job.

Called Pinewood Appliance at approximately 9am on 4/2/12 and the got me in for a 12-2pm appointment. The tech arrived at 1:20 and had job completed by 2pm. The estimate for repairing the ice maker and a water valve would've cost me $381 to fix so I decided to forgo that and just have the dishwasher fixed. The dishwasher had a blown fuse and charged me 198.45 to fix plus $35 to look at the fridge. All in all I was extremely happy with their service. The only reason I gave the price a B was that I didn't have any other estimates to go by.

I'd definitely recommend Pinewood Appliance for timeliness, professionalism and cleanliness.
