He had to demo a wall, bathtub in guest bath. He installed a new bathtub, moved the toilet, new tile around tub with shower, added new oak side to bath cabinet, new tile floor. They discovered mold under the bathroom floor. He immediately removed the flooring, installed new subfloor, and sprayed the entire space with preventive sealant. He replaced the countertops in our kitchen with granite, added new splash, all new appliances and handles. In the master bath, he replaced the master shower, installed a new hot water heater with recirculating pump, new counter top and new floor. He had to replace the subfloor in the shower as we installed an ADA shower that would accommodate a wheelchair. All new fixtures, sinks in all three rooms and changed out door handles and hinges. The work took about 6-1/2 weeks due to wait for ADA shower door.
Phil took care of all the permits, and most of the accessories. We did buy our own handles and installed them. We also bought some of our fixtures including the lights. Phil and his subcontractors were there on time every day. If there was a delay we received a call immediately. If he would be a little late, we were always called. He gave us some very good advice if we were not sure about something. His subcontractors also helped with placement of tile. The financial arrangement was fair and his bid was definitely within the market range. I would recommend him for any remodel construction.
