Easy -- he knew just what to do, and since there was a minimum of one hour for him to come, he asked if there was anything else he could do to fill out the hour. I really appreciated his commitment to giving me my money's worth!

OK, starts a bit and quot;highand quot; now with a big blast of gas. Kind of scares me. Would like an adjustment on that honestly, but not for another $56.00, I just stand further back from the stove now. My check was not cashed for quite awhile as well.

Came out at the scheduled time, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes, ordered the part and came back about five days later to install (another 15 min). Very professional and punctual. Great communication.

Peter at Mike's Electric was great. He came the day I called him for refrigerator service and fixed it within an hour. He's been around the business his whole life and grew up here in Bend. I would definitely call him again.

The light switch on our KitchenAid side-by-side refrigerator failed about a month ago so we checked on Angie's List to select someone for the repair. Mike's Electric had excellent reviews so we called them. Pete (Mike's son) now owns and operates the business.
Unfortunately the switch was not available in the warehouse so it had to be ordered. (Not his fault) Then they didn't notify him when it came in so he had to chase it down.
Despite this delay, we are very pleased with the work. We even got a (and quot;seniorand quot;?) discount.
We had an unrelated problem with our dishwasher (all our appliances are KitchenAid and they have all had to be repaired after less than 8 years, Remember when KitchenAid was a top flight brand?) We mentioned the problem to Pete who said he knew how to fix it but he needed something that wasn't in his truck. He came back today (3 days later) and took care of it with a very minimal charge.
Pete is very competent, professional and personable. We highly recommend him!

Called Mike's Electric repair and left voice mail request for service. Pete, from Mike's Electric, called me back right away and responded on the same day to repair my washing machine. After replacing a faulty washing machine switch, I had Pete also look at the door on my dishwasher machine. Pete was able to adjust the door, so now the door could now close and I could now operate my dishwasher.
Pete did a great job with the repairs and I appreciated him taking the time to explain what the problem was with both the washing machine and the dishwasher.

We discovered the oven would not respond to touchpad commands to ignite. Some diagnostic investigation online focused on the igniter as the source of the problem. My wife and I are quite handy DIY-ers and made some attempt to perform the repair. As the igniter can only be accessed by removing the door we were stalled when the door would not come off easily. We called another appliance repair shop highly rated on angieslist but would have to wait three days for the service call. I had already left a message with Mike's Electric and this call was returned about two hours later with the offer to come out within two hours at 3pm. Promptly at 3pm Pete arrived with the part in hand. The door came off with a flick of the hinge mechanism and the igniter was replaced with efficient professionalism, and with explanations as I watched. The cost was $40.00 less than quoted by the other shop. We could not be more pleased with this service from Mike's Electric and will definitely ask them to help us again should the need arise.
