Like New Carpet Care

I called Like New Cleaning Company because their advertisement stated they specialized in pet stains and our dog was sick and caused a real problem with our carpet.  I gave the exact dimensions of the livingroom carpet and explained the pet stains to the owner, Brady McMillan, who answered the phone.  He estimated the cost would be $120.  I moved all the furniture except a table.  My husband was home but he's disabled.
He showed up on time and helped me move the one last piece of furniture, a table, to the next room.  He talked on his cell phone as he started to spray the spots using a spray bottle and eventually I had to leave for work.  After a while I got a call from my husband saying the bill was a little over $280 so I asked to talk to Mr. McMillan to ask why the cost was so much more than his estimate and he was unbelievably rude to me saying how bad the carpet was and he'd spent a lot more time than he should have.
After the carpet dried there were two large streaks, one about 5 foot by 1 foot and another 2 foot by 3 foot, where I thought he had missed cleaning and I called to ask him to come back to fix those two areas.  Also the spots were coming back.  He came by the next day when I wasn't home and he called me to tell me he didn't miss those areas, that the dog had messed again and he wouldn't re-clean the rug for free.  He tried to intimidate me with rudeness and insisting I was trying to get free service and how bad my carpet was and was argumentative and belligerent.
As days passed the spots he sprayed got worse and when I tried to clean them myself they darkened so I gathered my courage and called once again to ask what to use to counter the chemicals he sprayed with and he was adamant he didn't use chemicals, he only used a mixture with amonia and something else.  Sounds like chemicals to me.
He absolutely accepted no responsibility for anything and I had a ruined carpet that we had to replace.I eventually sent him a letter reminding him his ad offered a 100% money back guarantee if I wasn't satisfied for any reason and since I'd had to replace the carpet because of his cleaning, I wasn't satisfied.  He has refused to give me any refund.  As much as I should pursue his bad business practices, the man is so caustic that I want no further communication with him.

The owner, Brady McMillan, came to my house yesterday at the appointed time and day, looked around and told my husband that it would cost between $350 and $450, depending on the services selected.  My husband called me at work to tell me this,  I asked to speak to him and told him that the cost was way more than we discussed and that I wanted to pass.  He was adamant that he told me this on the phone, but I know he didn't.  He told me he couldn't waste his time coming to my house for nothing and that he would charge me an $85.00 minimum.  I reminded him that he advertised a 'free estimate' and he said I didn't ask for one.  I told him to clean $85.00 worth of carpet and leave it at that.   I have lived in this house for ten years and have had the carpet cleaned at least annually by several businesses.  I have a 1750 square foot house and only needed the living room/dining room, master bedroom, hallway and stairs cleaned.  I have never paid more than $200 to have the entire house cleaned. I have no complaint about the quality of the room he cleaned.  I just feel that his business practices are misleading.
