Established in 1982, Evergreen In-Home Care Services in Bend, OR is one of Oregon's longest standing in-home care agencies. There's simply no place like home for someone recovering from illness or injury or trying to remain independent into their advancing years. In keeping with this mission, Evergreen provides a full spectrum of non-medical in-home care services to seniors, disabled, individuals recovering from illness, injury or surgery and those in need of long-term or short-term assistance. We provide in-home evaluations, customized solutions and one-to-one personalized care. We assist with everyday tasks that allow clients to live independently whether it be a few hours a day or 24 hours a day. We are proud to have professionally screened, trained, and closely supervised staff, RN supervised care and a Geriatric Care Manager to serve you. Evergreen is state licensed as an In-Home Care Agency by the Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division. Services may be paid for by Long Term Care Insurance, Medicaid, Oregon Project Independence, Respite Caregiver Program, Worker's Compensation, Veterans Administration, and private insurance and private pay. The arrangement was for a caregiver to come each morning around 7:30 AM to help me shower and/or get dressed. I also requested an evening visit to help get undressed around 8:00 PM.
Without fail everything occurred in a timely manner. The two gals who helped me were extremely proficient, very friendly, and offered other assistance such as opening food and beverage items in my room, applying lotion after my shower, getting me ice for the surgery area, etc. Each time they left they were sure to check that there was nothing else I needed.
During my short stay I interacted with two different caregivers as their work schedules dictated. I am very impressed with the quality of service I received and would not hesitate to use this service again and recommend them in the highest regard.
Excellent caregivers. Evergreen took care of my mother in her home until she passed away. Our family was extremely impressed with their professionalism from start to finish. They came out to our home and assessed Mom and selected several caregivers who they felt were the best match for her given her personality and care needs. We found them to be consistent, dependable and trustworthy. Whenever I had concerns about Mom and called their office to discuss those concerns, I felt they listened and offered solutions that best met our family situation. I would definitely recommend them to other families caring for their parents in the home.
