"Deschutes Heating does offer a workmanship guarantee on all new equipment installations. Meaning, if it can be determined that a failure occurred due to an error by the installing Technician(s), the cost for the repair will be covered by Deschutes Heating. It does not, however, mean that all costs... for any repair... is free. Labor costs for repairs are the responsibility of the homeowner unless otherwise stated in your contract with Deschutes Heating. In this case, no further warranty was stated or implied. Deschutes Heating has fulfilled its obligation in accordance with our agreement. We also chose, in a peacekeeping effort, to go above and beyond our obligation, when the equipment experienced a failure early in 2023. It goes without saying, mechanical failures never occur at convenient times. Deschutes Heating has a service team dedicated to restoring customer comfort as quickly as possible when equipment fails. Customer comfort and satisfaction are always our goal. We continually strive to treat our customers like family and we work hard to provide a fair price for the services we perform. We understand that customers have choices and sometimes the best solution is to part ways as amicably as possible and allow you to seek out those other solutions. We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations and wish you well."
