About us

Additional email - [email protected]. I offer multiple service levels for landscape design with additional options to best suit your needs. My focus is on creating designs that blend form, function and sustainability while offering high quality and personalized service during and after the project. After the initial meeting with the client, I send out a bid specific to the project stating the prices for the different service levels options available. I recommend trusted landscape contractors for the work to be performed if the clients needs, otherwise I can guide them if they wish to install the design themselves.

Working with Tanya has been, and continues to be a great experience! <y living wall is beautiful! Tanya is very knowledgable about native and non-native plants, has a really great sense of design. I'm looking forward to future projects with her and highly recommend Carlseng Designs.
Description of Work: I met with Tanya to discuss working together on a long-term plan for the landscaping around a house I recently purchased. She gave me a tour of the existing plants, shrubs, tress and bushes and advised me on what I could do on my own to start out. She also had some great suggestions for improvements to make in the future - something we will continue to work on together. I also asked her for some suggestions on a living wall that I'd like located in a shady spot outside - not ideal. She provided lots of great ideas and discussed the pros and cons of different types of plants for our region.

I left a voicemail for Tanya and she called me back pretty quickly. Even though it turned out her service was not what I was looking for, she was kind enough to offer recommendations for places I could call. I called two of them and both returned my calls quickly as well. I just wanted to note how helpful Tanya was, especially since I did not end up contracting with her ... I'm sure that bears a reflection on her professional services as well.
Description of Work: I needed a lawn care specialist and called Tanya through Angie's List.

The experience was great! Tanya quickly assessed what we wanted and translated that into three great designs for our front yard. All of the designs incorporated appropriate plants for our high desert climate, meeting our needs for a water thrifty garden. The hardest part was picking one option...and waiting for the garden to mature!
