I have known Ann Sundara since she helped us purchase our first home in the summer of 2003. She was very attentive to our needs and even went to the closing with us to make sure everything went smoothly. When we bought our next home in 2007, I made the mistake of financing the loan with my personal bank as I thought I would get a better rate. Without providing specific details, I was taken advantage of, and I called Ann to help clean up my mess. She was able to provide a low-cost refinance for me that I couldn?t match elsewhere. Even though I have since moved across the country, Ann has kept in contact with me over the past few years. In the fall of 2010, I approached Ann to assist my family in financing a second home in Portland, Oregon. My objective was to purchase a short sale or bank-owned home, and asked her if she was up for the challenge. Shortly after we made an offer on a short-sale property, Ann called to let me know that she would be leaving her present employer, and that we was passing me off to someone else who would take good care of me. I felt that this was very professional. In the spring of 2011, by which time we had already abandoned our offer on the short sale property and had already been through five other failed offers on foreclosures, we had finally come to a contract. At this time, I sought Ann at her new place of employment, Wells Fargo, and asked her for a good-faith estimate, so that I could continue to work with her. Over the next three months, Ann showed great patience and resilience when our appraisal came back lower than our offer price and we needed to renegotiate. The approval process for this price adjustment ended up taking forever and put my family up against a very tight deadline. Ann worked tirelessly to see this through and prioritized my loan with her underwriters, funding team, docs department, the title company, the selling agent, and my real-estate agent to get the deal done. I would also like to give special thanks to Ann?s processor, Lisa Ngo, who kept her informed, and her manager Kim Pentrack, who provided critical support for decisions that were made along the way. In the end, Ann managed to reduce our interest rate and provide us a lender credit on the day of our closing. In summary, I view Ann as a great business partner and friend. I really enjoy working with her. She is very responsive, and supported me 110% by being conscious about my bottom line. I look forward to our next transaction.
