My wife and I are extremely happy with our new kitchen and dining room. Nathan communicated well, was very easy to work with, and his subs were also as professional as Nathan. We couldn't be happier with the contractor and look forward to hiring Valiant Construction again for our next project.

He did things fast and efficiently. Because it was a small job during the holidays, he had trouble finding time to fit the job in but once he arrived ready the work, it didn't take him much time to complete the project at all.

Nathan was very nice and accommodating. He was easy to get in contact with. The finished door looks wonderful.

It was a total replacement in our bathroom, getting rid of a bathtub and replacing it with a huge shower. A new vanity and mirrors and lighting. With marble and tile. The laundry room was reorganized keeping some of the cabinets and putting in another with a sink. He did a fantastic job matching the existing cabinets and reorganizing our pantry closet.
He was patient with our choices and suggested many ideas that turned out so well. Nathan is a joy to work with.

Response from Valiant Construction Inc
"My response to this is much later than I would want, as it took months for me to be notified that I even had this report - Angie's List apparently had my email address incorrect. It is sad to me that this person was unable to bring themselves to contact me directly instead of going to this extreme. That being said, it should be obvious that this report is unfounded, as my track record speaks for itself. The truth is that this person had me come out after installing their stairs and had me install a new front door and at that time pointed out to me a deck board with a split in it. I replaced that board at no cost to him. At that time I told him again what I had told him before we took on the project of his stairway - the product he had chosen was not what was most highly recommended for his exposure and it was critical for him to maintain it according to the manufacturers recommendations (treating once a year, at least). It was obvious that he was not treating his stairway at the minimum recommendation because of the look of it and also because of his response of "oh, really" - like he had forgotten our original recommendations. It is unfortunate that he chose to take this approach - disparaging me and my company without speaking with me first - as I much prefer to strive to make sure my clients are taken care of and to work with them directly. As for me not responding - I was never contacted! In summary: *After recommending a much better product and having him choosing something less. *After recommending maintenance and having him not follow directions. *After his choice to sit down and try to mar my good name with a few strokes of the keyboard instead of choosing to have an adult interaction. He has lost the opportunity that he would have otherwise had to have me come out and help him."

We had our house on the market for sale and we were already out of the Country. The heating and cooling contractor did some duct work to install a new furnace, and suggested we hire Valiant Construction for repairs on the wall and ceiling. We are glad we did. Working with contractors while away is not easy, but the owner from Valiant made it as easy as possible. They did not charge much for the repairs and according to our agent, the results were excellent.

After Nathan was contacted via phone, he responded quickly to my request to replace the toilet. He purchased and delivered the Toto toilet after discussing with me what I wanted. It took about an hour to finish removal and installation. He took the old toilet with him and I broke down the boxes for recycling. I love my new Toto toilet!!!!

The man was an awfully nice guy to work with. Like all contractors, their schedules are not absolute. They came through with nice finished work. The framing was excellent. They redid the whole roof, too, because we had to put in skylights and things like that. There's a man on the staff that has done roofing for 30 years. We had nothing but good quality work from them. They did a great job of compromising with us on designs and construction. The price was very reasonable.

Nathan Goodloe immediately responded to our inquiry for a bid. He personally came to our home accomodating our schedule, not his. In the bid process he gave us multiple suggestions of possible choices without confirmation that we would hire him. After our initial contact, Nathan emailed, in full detail, the bid outlining each step, the process and the time frame. We had previously researched a couple of other contractors and decided that Valiant Construction was the perfect fit for us . This was a complete remodel from the floor to the ceiling fan and everything in between. We ran into a few hiccups when we decided that we would purchase the tub and vanity ourselves. [we choose to do this thinking we would just go to the big box store pick the colors and the product] Well, the tub and vanity did not fit our small bathroom. Nathan made the contact with his sources and we then had the right size tub. Nathan even physically returned the tub that did not fit. As for the vanity, the special order came to us damanged from the big box store. After the bbs located another one, once again Nathan took care of that return and even went and picked up the new one. Wow!! Talk about customer care.We had tile set on the floor and the tub surround, an exhaust fan removed from the outside wall and an overhead ceiling fan installed, an medicine cabinet with mirror set into another wall, the toilet replaced and new electrical wiring done to code, a wall extended and sheet rocking done. The crew that works for Valiant Construction are all professional and talented at their trade. They totally respected our home as they traveled through daily to get to the bathroom area. This was a very good experience and we are still admiring it.

The overall experience working with Nathan has been nothing short on wonderful. Nathan did all that he said he was going to do and more. From the time he bid the job to the end of the job he was always on time and knew what was going on. Nathan performed with the highest level of integrity and professionalism throughout the project. The quality of work performed and the manner that it was performed in was excellent from beginning to end. (I HIGHLY REFER THIS CONTRACTOR TO ANY PERSON WANTING A GREAT AND HONEST CONTRACTOR.)

Nathan was very prompt in getting back to me about an estimate. He did tell me he was booked out a couple of months, which was not a problem. I told him I would have no problem doing the job in sections-front of house first, etc. That flexibility worked for him, too, and the whole job was finished ahead of original estimate. They ran into one problem with a window that was very much out of plumb. The installer called Nathan, they consulted, Nathan looked at the problem and decided on a course of action, and the result was a good window installation.

Very responsive and professional. It is very hard to find someone to return your call, which is very important. He apologized when it took him a little longer to respond but he was very helpful.

The owner is Nathan Goodlow, he is just delightful. I have worked with several service people, this gentleman and this crew are so honest. They came in underestimate! Work is thorough and outstanding! Personable, showed up when they said they would. Quick and cleaned up after themselves. They were enjoyable to work with, no concerns with them being in my home. They wouldn't leave until it was just perfect!
