Dave Kleinman (if I recall correctly) was my broker. I felt like he was my employee, like there was someone truly working for me and looking out for me. He was immediately responsive and a consummate professional.

I worked with Jonathan Capellen on a couple of loans now. I find he does a great job looking out for his clients' best interests and finds the best deal available. Both times I have used him, the rates were lower than anyone else could touch. Often he got rates w/o points that other lenders required points to get anywhere near the same rate. Jonathan went the extra mile when one lender was dragging their feet, putting the close date at risk, and he jumped lenders and had the docs done in 24 hrs. The closing costs were inline with other good faith estimates. The day I was supposed to close, the seller's docs did not arrive on time. Jon was the only person to call me to tell me we weren't going to be able to close, even though the Title company should have called me. Again going above and beyond what I would expect from the mortgage broker.

AS THIS WAS OUR FIRST HOME, WE WERE INEXPERIENCED IN THIS PROCESS SO PLEASE CONSIDER THAT WHEN REVIEWING OUR COMMENTS/GRADES. AMOUNT PAID FOR WORK IS NOT EXACT. RATES ARE COMPETITIVE. VERY RESPONSIVE AND WILLING TO ANSWER QUESTIONS HONESTLY. WE SOMETIMES FELT ANSWERS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ELABORATED ON (INFORMATION MORE FORTHCOMING), BUT IF YOU ARE PREPARED AND ASK THE APPROPRIATE QUESTIONS, YOU'LL GET WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW. GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE WAS REASONABLE. STASHIN'S FEES WERE STATED UP FRONT AND WERE EXACT. THIRD PARTY FEES WERE SLIGHTLY UNDERESTIMATED ($270). OUR ONLY OTHER CRITIQUE IS THAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS OCCASIONALLY LACKING, THOUGH IN OUR CASE THIS HAD LITTLE TO NO IMPACT. BEING OUR FIRST TIME THOUGH THIS PROCESS, WE SOMEWHAT FELT THE MORTGAGE BUSINESS AS A WHOLE HAS A USED CAR SALESMAN KIND OF FEEL TO IT. BUT OVERALL AND COMPARED WITH OTHERS WE SPOKE WITH, WE WERE LEFT WITH A GOOD IMPRESSION OF STASHIN AND WOULD CONSIDER USING THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

IT IS VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. PEOPLE ARE NICE AND RESPOND FASTER MOST. THEY CAN LOCK IN LOWER INTEREST RATE FOR YOU AND LET YOU KNOW WHEN IS BEST RATE.
