Tony went above and beyond, and put a lot of care into our deck instincts. The price was good, and he took on a custom, curved shape that other contractors would not attempt. I was also impressed by his thorough prep work. The way he approached it was much more difficult strategy, but definitely the right way.

Tony Garcia was an absolute pleasure. The bid process was professional and above all honest. He took the time to do a thorough inspection and only recommended the repairs that were required. Of all the contractors who reached out about our home improvement projects, Tony (Rudi's Construction) stood out because a) he was attentive in hearing our vision, lifestyle, and purpose for the space b) he had fantastic design ideas, and c) he didn't say no..he was more interested in solutions. We wanted to enhance our indoor/outdoor living space by extending the a-frame of our sawtooth roofline over the extended deck, we wanted to replace our sad outdoor cabinet system with something more attractive, modern, and secure and we had a pesky leak that other contractors were not able to figure out. Tony delivered on all fronts. He further impressed us with his communication, his great attitude, and professionalism. Where it took others days/weeks to respond with answers & quotes, Tony was always efficient and available. He takes great pride in his work and it showed. I needed to replace an old cedar fence surrounding the backyard of our SE Portland Craftsman house; the old fence I had commissioned 35 years ago was now on its last legs. Rudi's Construction Owner Tony came out and together we agreed on a classy custom-made design at a competitive bid price for a 7' high solid red cedar fence that included a top section of lattice and two new gates. Tony made the project a top priority, and his crack crew showed up the following week and set to work. I was very impressed with how proficiently and agreeably the crew worked together on this project, and the end result on the weekend was a stunningly beautiful, high-quality new red cedar fence that exceeded all my expectations. I heartily recommend this talented and dependable contractor.

We had a front porch damaged when a delivery van ran into it. It meant some repairs that weren't simple, including foundation repairs. , it also meant dealing with a corporate insurance company., which complicated things. I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism, their communication, timeliness, and most importantly, a quality of repairs that exceeded my expectations. Rudi's Construction is one of the best I have ever worked with in truly partnering with me to make the project successful. Hire them and you won't be disappointed.

Replaced patio cover on the front of the house so I wanted a good result. I have had several workers on our homes over the years but have never encountered such a group. Tony is very efficient and follows through quickly. The work is high quality, the workers were steady and neat. The area was always clean at the end of the work day. Questions were answered openly and clearly. The work was completed without problem. I would choose Rudis Construction again without hesitation. Happy Customer ~ Patio awning collapsed in 2021 snow storm. They showed up at my door within a couple hours to assess the damage. Quickly provided a quote and worked directly with the insurance company to ensure the transaction went smoothly. The job was completed in a very timely manor. They delivered quality work. Tony and his guys were life savers! We have recently worked with contractors that took forever to finish the project, were unprofessional and didnâ t meet our expectations in terms of quality. We were hesitant to work with another contractor but needed a fence built. Tony and his guys were professional and pleasant from the beginning! Tony genuinely wanted to help us to make our yard beautiful and functional, and he was knowledgeable and took the time to ensure we felt comfortable and valued. Tony worked with our tight budget to ensure we got the fence we desired. We never worried he would take advantage of us or steer us wrong. They went above and beyond for us and helped with things that werenâ t even part of their job (removing a large stump left by the other contractors). They stayed late and got here on time and finished a 165ft long fence in a day and a half! They have lifted a huge weight and we are so happy we found them!! We will be hiring them again in a heartbeat!!!

This contractor has extensive knowledge of City of Portland codes and advises you accordingly rather than doing the project in there best interest they do it in the customers best interest and timeline. My project was urgent and they made me a top priority which demonstrates their caring for the customers needs which is rare this day and age and especially during covid. I have hired them for 2 more projects and they will be my go to for all my future work. They turned my nitemare project into a simple task and were upfront and honest with me price wise and code wise and for that I am extremely grateful. Stop looking other contractors this is the one to hire. Thank you for also calming my nerves during my proving I could trust you and you keep your word and remember every detail of our discussion during planning the project. I've hired many other contractors that I had to be watchful over and babysit but not with Rudy. Tony Garcia was a God send. He analyzed the issue in about 3 minutes. He told me the washer on the outside faucet was worn out & had to be replaced. He had replacement part with him but it did not fit. He went to 2 stores to find tbe right part & fixed the problem in a couple of minutes. He was more than reasonably priced. We will be using him in the future for various home projects.
