They come out monthly. They are fairly new; I have been using them for about 15 years.

Marty caught the moles that were tearing up our landscaping - a new mole moved in and he came  back and caught the new mole as well.  He has a knack for catching them and we will keep using him.

Talked to Marty - he came out and set traps - returned to capture more after he caught the first one and I will use him again.  We have 5 acres and have a lot of moles.  What I like about Marty is his price includes 6 months of follow up captures for $60 per mole - so I anticipate we will have him coming out again

This was work performed at my parents home and they were very satisfied with the results in the Garden Home neighborhood.  I wish the prices were a bit lower as it keeps me from using them every time I spot moles
Response from Raven Pest Management Inc
"Sorry you found the price offensive. I'm glad your parents found the service acceptable, especially the yellow jacket nest I spotted and treated for much less than they could have gotten anywhere else. Also, sounds like you feel the cost is 200 (actually, 195 ) every time a mole surfaces. Actually, no. Ongoing new activity is only 65 per mole taken during the service agreement term, and only charged after I catch it. Like mole insurance - if you need me, call me. If not, don't. Hope that clears it up a little. Thank you."

Last summer sawdust like material was discovered in the rear of the church santuary.  Raven, who the church has used in the past, arrived and sprayed several times in July and August, then returned on a monthly basis through October.  All ant activity ceased, mostly after the second spraying.  He also returned in March to apply the preventative spray.  No ants have been seen since.
Response from Raven Pest Management Inc
"Hi [removed member name] - thank you for your kind posting. I'm glad the ant issue is respoved, and you've made it thru the summer without any new activity. Please feel free to contact me should any new problems arise. Again, thank you, Marty @ Raven"

I called him at 9 in the morning in May. He was out within two hours, did the first work, and has returned monthly. He is very professional and easy to work with.

We went through a two-month saga to catch a rat that was obviously trap-phobic and trap-savvy.  Marty was responsive and persistent, coming back regularly to check the traps.  Over the course of 2 months the traps were re-baited with everything that he knew rodents to be attracted to.  He tried everything but poison (neither he nor we wanted to go that route), went into a crawl space to block off where it had been burrowing and hiding, and put down glue pads, with our permission, when nothing else was working.  As this dragged on with empty traps and empty glue pads, we figured out a way of keeping the rat from coming upstairs, which helped with our peace of mind and limited its access to sustenance.  We checked the traps daily, and Marty came by as needed.  One day the rat was in one of the traps, after weeks and weeks of the traps being empty.  Marty believes - and we agree - that this was a lone animal, but he advised us on a way to be sure of that as well as to know if another rodent somehow makes it into the basement.
Marty know what he is doing, and he said that this was one of the most puzzling and challenging situations he had encountered.  He was persistent and guaranteed that he would solve it under our original agreement.

We had Raven set traps to remove a mole last summer and paid the initial $195 which included the first mole.  They got the mole right away and then came back in November when we had another one and trapped it for $65 given that the second one was within 6 months of the initial setup.  Marty (owner/operator, I think) is very prompt and professional.  He repaired the spots where the traps were and you can no longer tell they were there.

We were desperate to get rid of moles that were trashing our lawn and garden, so we emailed Marty. He called and came to our home 4 days later, set mole traps front and back, and 10 days later( March 1st) came back and found 2 moles! We were thrilled! What my husband and I particularly liked was that Marty gave us lots of information on moles and mole behavior, particularly the fact that one mole can cover up to an acre of territory, and can easily travel from front yard to back yard. He thought that we had only one mole, but he trapped 2, so we were very pleased. The price seemed high, but not when we balanced it against the cost of re-seeding a lawn or replacing plants and shrubs. We will definitely call him again if another mole moves into our yard.

Caught a very determined mole that had tunneled under three yards in over 3/4 of an acre. The mole had destroyed a flagstone patio in addition to the usual mounds in lawns and under shrubs. The mole had avoided the neighbors traps for more than six months. Even the determined Raven technician had to set traps a couple of times. He caught the mole. The yards are mole free. The flagstones are reset and still level but Raven said to call them any time within six months if another mole moved into the territory.

It went great. Marty was professional and it seemed like he took care to make sure the mole was trapped in the first couple days after the visit.

We use Raven Pest Management constantly because we live on the urban growth boundary and have a lot of moles. He's our go-to guy for mole removal. We called him the day after Christmas and he said we had a Christmas mole and a lot of his clients had Christmas moles this year. He is a lot of fun and is very thorough in what he does. We just wish they would go away. There is a starting fee around $200 and then $65 to remove each mole. You don't pay if he doesn't catch a mole. He is totally professional and a lot of fun to deal with. He has a great customer interface attitude and bedside manner. We love to deal with him and call anytime we have a mole problem. We didn't shop around for mole removal prices because we went with Marty and Raven Pest Management based on other Angie's List member comments. There was no reason to change and we'll stick with him as long as we live here. We think we get good value for our money when it's a combination of catching the moles and disposing of them. We give him a call and he stops by and we don't have to be home. He has to come out twice; once to set the trap and the second time to check it and see if the mole has been caught. When you consider drive time and such, we think it is a reasonable fee. The price is good for the value. We will absolutely continue to use him in the future.

They charge us annually for their services and the charges are not too much. Marty is the guy's name. He is good and he explains what he is doing. He seems to be multi-talented. He got a bird out of our wall as well. I recommend using him. He is a little expensive. It is 55 bucks for moles. We usually put up with them. They are not nice to begin with. If it gets really bad, we call him in. I would like to see the price cheaper, but I would be charging the same or more if I was doing it.
