Raindrop Roofing NW

The company informed me that he could not do the work I wanted done with this deal. I appreciate his honesty. I am therefore seeking a refund from Angie's List.

I referred my daughter and son-in-law, Mike and Sandra Cranston, to Raindrop Roofing NW when they told me they were thinking about getting their roof redone. Here is their review of Raindrop Roofing NW. "I would highly recommend Raindrop Roofing NW for all of your roofing needs. The whole experience from start to finish was great. Sean, who was the supervisor in charge of our bid, was on-time for all of his appointments with us. No rescheduling or taking time off of work to wait around for some one to show up like I had to do with the other two companies I received bids from. Sean was also the best at answering all of my MANY questions. This positive first impression was a critical factor in our choice of Raindrop Roofing NW. All three bids we received were within $300 of each other, and we decided to go with Raindrop Roofing even though they weren't the cheapest. The next person in the process that I dealt with was Tori. She handles the scheduling and, at least in my case, acted as my go-between whenever I had questions. She was always super polite and professional - even when I was being really picky about the scheduling. Finally, it was time to start the project. I can't say enough good things about Fernando, Carlos, and the rest of the roofing crew. They started early and worked non-stop to get the job done. Our new roof is beautiful! Fernando even came back to spray paint some vents that weren't a perfect match to the rest. I told him it wasn't a big deal, but he said it is better to do it right. I also really appreciated the fact that the cleanup after the project was finished was very thorough; no debris left in MY neighbors yard (like another company left in my yard when they re-roofed my neighbors house). I will not hesitate to recommend Raindrop Roofing NW to my friends and neighbors who want a job done right."

Raindrop roofing did an outstanding job of removing moss and doing some minor repairs on our roof. We had hired them in the past for a repair, so when we needed moss removal, they were the first roofing company we called. Their bid was very competitive and they were able to get us scheduled right away. On the day they were due to come out, we ended up having an unexpected conflict with some other service providers at our home, and we ended up having to reschedule. This was entirely our fault, but James and everyone at Raindrop roofing was very professional and understanding and was they were able to schedule us again later the same week. I wish I had taken a "before" picture of our roof - they did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Except for one issue, the experience was excellent. They needed to return because the tiles that were replaced did not match the tiles on my roof (roof was brown , tiles very light brown)... since the tiles were in the front of the house it was cosmetic problem. they promptly returned to update the tiles - and I would recommend this service to friends and neighbors.

The process started out a bit slow mostly due to rain and weather but also perhaps some scheduling issues. There was some confusion about when they were starting the job so a box and the plywood was dropped when it was about to rain. When that got cleared up and we set a date to start (based on weather), things went smoothly. The process of tearout took a little longer than we expected...but eventually everything came together and our roof was installed within a week. It looks great and we are confident that we hired the right company to do the work. Fernando was in charge of the project and worked very hard (as did the crew) under some adverse conditions to finish our roof. Sean, our project coordinator/sales rep has come back to make sure all of the last details have been taken care of to our satisfaction. Their price was competative for the style of roof that we chose and was better than another highly rated company nearby.

We'll use Raindrop Roofing NW again this year. They were very professional and their bid process is by far the most detailed. The description of their services and products provided is outstanding. We're using them again because the workmanship was good also.

It went really well. They worked under adverse weather conditions. Really took care of us, even came back and provided extra care on the job. A special shout out to Fernando who did an excellent job, and provided wonderful customer care. We would hire them again if needed in a heartbeat.

Was OK. Don't know if he did any repairs or not. I didn't receive any photos.

Spoke with James, who told me that "Big Deal" customers had been unhappy with him because their intent is different than was worded in the Angie's List offer. He suggested that I call Angie's List and request a refund. He was very nice, and I appreciate his being direct with me before spending the $89 I paid. Please process refund.

The Roofer called on the day I expected him and told me that I should cancel my order. His reason for that is that many Big Deal customers were dissappointed in his servise. He said that he gives free estimates with the same service. That is why I cancelled and that is why I called your place and talked to Elissa.

These guys put a new roof on our rental house property and our home. Great service and they did a beautiful job!

They had a good deal in Angie's List and we had them come over and do the job. They were very good. They were here on time and I am very pleased with them. Everything was fine. I will use them again. Their pricing was also fair.

It started out rocky because they forgot our first appointment. After that, they rescheduled and everything was smooth sailing. He carried out the repairs and left extra materials with us in case we need them in the future. He gave good advice and was helpful and courteous. We did choose to forgo one preventative treatment they suggested. It was expensive and after researching we determined it wouldn't be worth it for our shake roof. I was very happy with the service overall! I like that they work on shake roofs - not all roofing service providers do that.

They had a guy came out over a week ago as part of the roof tune-up special that I bought through Angie's List. No work was performed and no estimate of the services that we had discussed was ever sent to me. I paid $89 to have actual work performed as was stated in the details at time of purchase. If you, Raindrop Roofing NW, do not want to perform the work, do not advertise the deal as one that includes work. Instead, state that it's an $89 inspection. That way I'll know to use any number of other roofing service providers that provide free estimates.

It went well in all respects. The office staff, site supervisor and the crew were all so easy to work and communicate with--just a very nice group of people, in my opinion. Work was done on time and professionally. I was particularly impressed with the work crew's diligence and hard work. They were very mindful of the plants and yard decoration and left things looking better than when they arrived. I would use their services again without hesitation.

The setting up of the appt. was difficult. He got ahold of me and told me he was coming the next day at 9 even though I had not scheduled that.. He was a very pleasant person and did what I asked him after we finally got it figured out. He reported I had a very good roof condition and would send me a quote. I never got the quote, and don't know what happened.

Purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal" from this provider on Feb.12 based on the reviews. The deal asked me to provide 3 dates which I did. Received email from company telling me my dates were coming up too fast and unless I had an urgent need, they were looking at 3-4 weeks out. I was fine with this, though I thought it odd. Received a call from Bud for scheduling. Connected with Bud on Feb 28 and he let me know that was his last day and he would notify Torry to call and schedule an appointment. On Mar 5, called the office and spoke with Torry. She let me know she would have James call to schedule an appt. No call. Received email on Mar 18 that James would be at our house on Monday, March 24 between 8-9am and we did not need to be there. I asked if we would get a report after he was done and was told we would receive a report via email. I assume James showed up as his card was left on my front door. He did call to let us know he was on his way, however we were at work, so he left a message on our answering machine. On March 31 I sent an email to James and Torrey asking if someone could let me know when I would receive a "report". James responded March 31 - 9:14am and said I would get the report that evening. On March 31, 2:31pm James sent me an email that said, and I quote, "Sorry for the delay. Your roof is in excellent shape and the only thing I would suggest is a moss clean and treat. The roof looks like it has 7-10 years of life left." After the initial shock of this email I responded and asked if this was my report. James responded "Yes it is". First I am absolutely floored that I paid $90 for a one line email as my "report". I'm not quite sure what all happened with this, but I am extremely disappointed in this service. I can only assume James showed up since he card was in my door, but I have no idea if everything listed in the "deal" was done. I suppose my husband will have to go up on the roof and look to see if he can tell. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, from the office personnel to the "inspector". And I can guarantee, I will NOT recommend Raindrop Roofing to anyone. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Shame on you. Raindrop Roofing did offer me a "refund" of the "Big Deal" which I have requested from Angie's List. Although it does not change what happened with the service.

Sean was polite and right on time. He took pictures of the problem that I was concerned about and showed them to me which was helpful. He was very clear in his explanation of the problem and what the likely solution will be.

It was great. I just felt it was overpriced for what I needed. The guy was very nice. I guess my roof was better off than I thought it was.

The provider came out to access the job. He did not have a tall enough ladder to inspect the roof. He completed the inspection from the ground. He said there would be a $50 additional charge for materials. He then emailed me to let me know that the job would cost an additional $214, so a total of $303 to complete the work needed. I have chosen to seek a refund with Angie's List and find another provider.

James arrived promptly for the free estimate and was professional and courteous at listening to my concerns. He was very thorough in his inspection and was able to explain his repair plans to me, who is unfamiliar with skylights and house ventilation. He also emailed a quote very promptly and was very responsive to address my follow up questions in both email and cell phone calls. He was able to fit our repairs in within a week during the first heavy rainfall of the season when other companies in the area were so busy that they couldn't come out for the estimate. Despite some miscommunications on my part that lead to our accidental cancellation the day before the scheduled repair, James was able to squeeze us back onto the work schedule and pick up the needed materials last minute. We are very satisfied with the job, even if it was at least $500 over our other choice. James and his company backs their repairs for 90 days and the skylights they installed have a 20-year manufacturer's warranty, which James said the company would mediate should the need arise. This really gave me an added peace of mind, especially since we previously had other roofers out to patch the leak unsuccessfully. James stayed on the job later than any of us expected, including him, due to some unexpected wood rot he had to take care of. He was at the job until dark and finished the same day as promised. He warned up about nails that may still be on the ground even after he tried to clean up in the dark and he was right?there were a *lot* of nails. We don't fault him for that though and appreciated the heads up before our tires were punctured. We would definitely look into Raindrop Roofing NW for any future projects.

The crew worked exceptionally efficiently and professionally under pretty extreme weather conditions. They were always polite and helpful. When I needed to take my daughter, who is disabled, to a doctor's appointment, they took down all the ladders and cleared a path to the car that was completely free of all debris. After the job was done, they did an immaculate clean-up and returned everything to where it was when they first arrived on the job. I highly recommend this company.

James Marks came out and did the work. He was very pleasant and professional. Also very fast! Because I am unable to get up on my roof I asked him to check my gutters while he was up there. He gladly checked them out for me and took care of one small trouble spot. I would have this company again.

It went very well. The office staff was polite and quickly got me in touch with an estimator and arranged a date to come out and look over the situation. Kenny, the estimator, was pleasant and knowledgeable and understood our problem. The actual work began shortly after I signed the contract. The workers were efficient and understood the problem and and even though it turned into a bigger job then originally planned they completed in good time. The whole job took only 2 days but there were 2 fellows here the first day and then 3 the second day. Kenny called that day to see if I was satisfied with the repairs and then he came by a few days later to see for himself. The next time I need roof work done I will call Raindrop Roofing.
