Prime Roofing

Prime Roofing did an excellent job on the removal and replacement of our roof. The attention to detail that owner Greg Anthony and his work crew provide is top notch. I highly recommend this company. On a side note, Prime Roofing's bank made a mistake cashing my payment check, that my bank did not catch. Greg found the error when reconciling his accounts. Greg called me up, told me of the error and wrote me a check for the overpayment. It's always nice dealing with such honest people like Greg!

Our project was a complicated roof. Prime offered a high degree of expertise, arrived on time, did what they had committed to, cleaned up well afterward and met the estimated cost. Great communication throughout the project. Highly recommended.

Greg was extremely detail oriented, responsive, and professional. Unfortunately, his team ran into a lot of issues (rotting and moldy plywood, vents not to code, etc). He communicated these issues promptly and was dedicated to getting the project done correctly. When waste management failed repeatedly to pick up the dump box as scheduled, he was on top of following through with them to get the issue handled. Would absolutely recommend.

Very well. Greg, the owner of Prime Roofing is very professional and attends to each job to make sure the customer is satisfied. In our case, he found a number of problems underneath the old roof. He and his crew were able to deal with each of the problems, and finish a little ahead of the original plan in spite of the discoveries. He is very scrupulous, honest, and professional. He dealt with us with respect and gave us full disclosure of the problems he found as he found them. This was replacement of a 20-year-old roof on a 41-year-old "spec" house. He helped us choose a roofing material that would lay down best in the cold weather prevailing at installation time, and would last more than 20 years. The result is a very good looking and durable (we hope) roof. Greg and his crew knew what to do about insulation that had blocked the soffit vents, a warped barge-board, siding that came down too close to a lower roof, and gutters that were too high at the top end. They also handled removal of the previous attic vent fan since it would not be needed now. At the end, they cleaned up very thoroughly, including the leaves that had accumulated in the gutters and on the porches.

I worked with the owner Greg, of Prime Construction/Roofing, last year, and he provided me an estimate in a few days. This year the roof was leaking and so I asked Greg to update my quote. He was on-par with another quote I had received from a different vendor. Besides the date for starting being a little bit soft and more than 2 months from when I signed the contract, Greg was forthcoming with details and I believe they did a nice job on my roof. I like that he uses better quality replacement materials like actual plywood (replacing OSB) and was willing to describe problems over text and photo to me, and offer multiple options at different price points to get the job done at a reasonable cost. Greg was there at the start of the job, and usually stopped by every day or other day to give me a status update, as well as providing his crew with direct guidance and reviewing the work. I liked that he left the rolling magnet in order to let me clean up after the huge dump box was picked up. There was a lot of metal debris and construction material in our lawn and on the driveway, but I'm a bit picky like that. The crew made a good point of cleaning up nightly, which was very good. All in all, I feel like I have a much better roof product and warranty than before and I really recommend Prime Roofing if you need a new roof. It looks great and I'm pleased with the end result.

Greg was easy to work with and his team worked very hard and were very professional. It all went very well.

Greg was great to work with throughout the whole process. We obtained quotes from 4 different contractors; Greg was not the most expensive or the cheapest but he was definitely very easy to work with, used great materials and best of all he is a locally owned small business owner which we love.

Greg managed the project flawlessly. He was able to pull in our job knowing that the roof had an active leak and the rainy season was looming. Greg was able to address all the hiccups that came along the way including a non-standard insulation in the vaulted area and some dry rot. His guys were fast, and did quality work. It showed that they are not subcontractors or day laborer but paid Prime Roofing employees. Overall a pleasant experience.

The crew of three worked during some of the hottest days of the summer. So they adjusted their hours to beat the heat but worked steadily for 5 or 6 days to complete the work. The crew was very good and the installation is just perfect - looks great. The house, plants, and yard were protected, and cleanup was spotless. Greg Anthony, the owner, a very personable guy, came by daily to check on the work and to make sure I was kept up to speed on the progress. The work includes and excellent warranty. I had four quotes and the price was competitive and I think the best value for the money.

Greg and his crew did a good job. They tore off the old roof and replaced it with a new composition roof. They also replace 7 skylights and added new soffit and flapper vents. In addition a portion of the old roof that didn't slope correctly was fixed. The job we pretty much as he predicted it. They arrived on time, were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. When I had questions Greg was responsive. The new roof looks good.

They were delayed by a day due to another job so they showed up on Friday, I feared it would turn into Monday and Tuesday as well since I was told 2-3 days.  All started out well, his professional crew showed up on time and in good spirits...until the wood was exposed.  What should have been an "'easy job", in my mind, turned into replacing 47 sheets of plywood and 96' of barge board!  They also installed additional vents on the roof and 14 larger soffit vents.  Greg was here continuously providing additional material as soon as it was discovered being in need.  He was also on site to check what his crew had found faulty and discuss with me.  I have to say I was dreading this work being done since the day I accepted his bid since I work from home and have two dogs.  I had multiple bids and they would have simply done a patch job or a less than perfect job...we had four leaks inside.  He was the only one who inspected the roof and attic thoroughly...and showed up on time. Bottom line is that what I thought was going to push me over the edge with sound and workers turned into a lower stress weekend even with two dogs. They came back on Saturday and finished the job along with cleaning up everything as they had done the previous day.  They left with smiles and in good spirits.  
I can't recommend Prime Roofing enough.  I respect punctuality and good work...Prime Roofing earned my respect.  There are other roofers out there with the goal to make money, not get the job done correctly the first time, and they will come out numerous times to correct their work.  Owners never on site to inspect and guide, at your expense of time and more than likely additional money.   Prime Roofing gets the job done correctly.  The first time.  I can't thank my friend enough for referring Prime Roofing to me.  Yes, it was expensive but not something you can avoid and have done by incompetent people when you do.  
All in all a great experience and I hope my review will convince someone else to call Greg Anthony and Prime Roofing.  Don't waste your time with the others if you want it done right the first time.

Fantastic! Greg is extremely knowledgeable and makes you instantly feel like your roof is in good hands. I feel like he does every roof as if it were his own. He kept me informed every step of the way and the price was right in line with the other estimates I got. All things being equal, Prime Roofing is the company you want doing your roof. No regrets at all.

I left a message for them in the morning after I had discovered the leak.  Greg called me back a short while later to discuss what I had found.  Later that same morning he was at my house diagnosing the problem and coming up with a solution for me.  Turned out to be a leaking skylight.  He told me what he thought should be done and I gave him the to go ahead to get the repair scheduled, thinking it might be a week or two before they could free up a crew come out to get things done.  Nope!  He fixed it right then and there!.  He went to get the parts he needed, came right back, and got the new skylight installed.  I have had no leaking or problems since.  Exceptionally fast service, excellent communication, and high quality work!  I cannot recommend Prime Roofing enough.

Greg initially came out to fix a leak, free of charge in the cedar roof, even though he was not the original installer.

After the roof aged more and I wanted to replace with a non slippery material, I chose Prime Roofing over the other contractors due to the work ethic of not cutting corners, doing the job right even though it may cost more up front but would save more down the road, and I trusted his decisions as he took in and listened to my concerns with the job.

The crew was efficient and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. Would hire again.

Greg spent a lot of time with us to be sure we got exactly what we wanted in roofing material and look. He shared references by not only showing us photos, but by providing addresses of properties he had completed so that we could see the work his company does in person.  It helped a great deal.  
It took him a couple of visits with us at our property before we could decide everything.  
We are very happy with his work and we love our new roof.  It is exactly what we envisioned.  Greg made the effort to ensure we got what we wanted.  He knew to give extra attention to details.  We are especially grateful for the new venting system that replaced the numerous single vents with a louvered system at the crown of the roof that looks much nicer.
Most importantly, Greg is considerate and genuine.  He is experienced in his work and his ability to judge and recommend is superior.  We recommend him!

Greg went through the time and trouble to calculate and install proper ventilation so the roof will last.  The crew were extremely skilled and that showed in the quality of the finished roof.  Our cooling bills lowered dramatically after the attic finally vented properly.  I would recommend them to anyone needing a high quality roof installation.

Greg was punctual, reasonable, knowledgeable and priced well.  He went through all of the options available to me as well as the associated costs and predicted timeline.  We chose to go with a more expensive but better quality fix and couldn't be happier!

I worked with Greg via phone and email to discuss and lay out plans for the roof over the course of a few weeks leading up to the project.  Greg was very easy to work with.  The crew arrived right on time both days and got straight to work.  Greg arrived and went over the specifics of the job with his crew.  He did a good job managing the project and taking care of any problems that came up.  It took the crew about 12 hours to do the job.  Greg stuck around afterwards and inspected everything to make sure there were no issues.  I later discovered that his crew forgot to attach the main bathroom vent hose to the new flapper vent.  Greg came out the next business day and attached the hose.  After the job was completed Greg filled out all the paperwork for our warranty and we received all the documents within a few weeks.  We are very satisfied with the work provided by Prime Roofing and the look of our new roof.  We have received several compliments on it.

We interviewed a number of roofing contractors before selecting Prime Roofing.  Greg was by far the most thorough of all the contractors who came out to our house.  He spent time with us to make sure we understood the work that would be undertaken and talked us through the contract, outlining all the options available to us.  Greg kept us informed of when the work would be done and let us know when materials would be delivered so we could prepare accordingly.   Greg's roofing team were efficient and worked when weather permitted, they didn't rush the job like some other crews we had seen, and were very detailed and focused in their work.  Throughout the tear off and replacement of our roof Greg kept us informed of any problems the crew encountered and provided options to us for moving forward - he didn't sway us but provided pros and cons.  At the end of the job the crew cleaned up and Greg came out more than once to reinspect to make sure nothing was left behind. 

We would definitely recommend Greg and his team. 

I interviewed at least 8 other roofing companies before choosing Prime Roofing, and I am so glad that I chose them! The first thing that set them apart from the other companies was the fact that the owner of the company, Greg Anthony, came out himself to do the bidding and inspection of the project. He didn't send a salesman or commissioned estimator to do his bidding. Because of this, it was apparent that Mr. Anthony took personal responsibility for all projects that his company does. 
Mr. Anthony spent a lot of time with me answering all of my questions. He was also great getting right back to me via email when necessary. Communication was excellent throughout.
The entire project went very smoothly. The only issue was that something heavy accidentally fell from the roof and damaged our cedar deck. But, not to worry! Once the damaged was discovered, Mr. Anthony immediately had the damaged planks replaced. The deck was repaired (beautifully, too) before we even returned home from work. I was really impressed! No hassle, fussing or complaining to get the deck repaired. Amazing!
I've worked with lots of contractors on various projects over the years, and my experience with Prime Roofing was one of the best. There were no sudden surprises or changes in the estimate, and I didn't have to hassle or argue about anything with Mr. Anthony. When the deck was damaged, it was immediately repaired. If I had a question or concern, it was quickly answered or addressed. I think the difference is that Mr. Anthony truly cares that his customers are satisfied. He works hard to make that happen.
Further, they did an excellent job on the roof. It looks fantastic. And, his bid was actually one of the lowest of all!  I highly recommend Prime Roofing, and I can be a hard customer to please.

Excellent work, new plywood,  flashing and ice guards were all installed perfectly.  The roof looks great and the workers were professional.  Other contractors have commented on how professional the roof was installed.
